Hong Lu is a charector who if you don't pay attention to can't see what is going on he plays the fool but he knows more than he lets on and when he appears it is potentially important like him saying something like oh you can check a pulse through a person's forehead when Don did that and a person who pays attention to Hong Lu was able to deduce that that interaction means Don or Hong Lu is special in some what but not both (they did not know about the vampires so they couldn't duduce vamp Don but if they knew they probably could of guessed)

The Bind caveat for Borrowed Time is more of a flavor thing. The ID's dont bind themselves enough to ever trigger it, HOWEVER, if you think about it, if someone in Borrowed Time gets slowed down, then their Borrowed Time basically implodes and they lose it. Its basically, "Dont let this ID get slowed down during Borrowed Time, or else they will get staggered." It only matters for a few bosses. Just use their Borrowed Time however you want, I've yet to be punished for it.

One thing to note, though, is the line our unimportant fixer friend said: "P Corp can make a safe home anywhere." It's reminiscent of that one bunker Abno from Lob Corp, "It literally makes itself the safest place in the world." And iirc, it had a P inside of it, like a logo. So it might've been made from people's subconscious concept of P Corp and its current singularity. Anyways, great work as always Foreman, with getting a hang of things. Here's what I figured from reading Borrowed Time closer: Borrowed Time works by providing benefits next turn at 2+ Count. This is also the same time it checks if it has to stagger you next turn. It provides Bind next turn at 1 Count, but also notably does NOT check if it has to stagger you on that next turn. The stagger check is only for next turns where Borrowed Time is exclusively giving you haste. This is why, as some comments have already mentioned, T Corp. Identities generally won't stagger without outside interference.

my take on hong lu is that he doesn't usually draw attention to himself, preferring to be the observer. he's had times where he actively deflects talk that may delve too deep in who he is as a person, like in hell's chicken where he changes the subject before meursault can roast him (lol). I think he absolutely does not want to be perceived by others, on the level of Outis, and has a composure that makes it hard to see if he's changed much. I'm very excited to see if he keeps that composure intact~

Borrowed time stagger on T corp units works when they get more bind than haste WHILE it's on 2+ Count, at 1 count they gain bind but the stagger condition is not applied. That basically means is that you just don't want to be hit with bind inflicting skils while you have clash power, that's pretty much it. A lot of tremor units have guards important to their kit, or pretty useful ones in general which is kind of a theme of sloth sin being rather defensive. For example the most powerful one is T Don's defensive skill, not only because of borrowed time, but because it also inflicts 3 tremor per enemy coin and one count as well since it inflicts tremor next turn. Tremor is the most complex status team to run by far, but it's also the most fun one, personally.

Plasticity , Pressure , Preservation there are a few things they can do. Some , me included guess its related to the bunker of march abno in lob corp. It seems also related to long lasting ice cream . a bit like the u corp singularity can put things into stasis.

time moratorium is a decently complicated status effect that can absolutely ruin certain enemies depending on their weaknesses. Whenever you're thinking of using it, please for your own sake make sure the enemy isn't resistant to sloth lol.

On the t corp borrowed time thing... not 100% sure I am interpreting it correctly but I THINK how it works is if external things give you bind exceeding the haste you would get from the effect it causes a stagger but also on the turn after it runs out it applies bind to you, if you were fighting say ebony with the bind passive she has that would be a problem but as long as the enemy doesn't apply bind and you don't corrode friendly fire yourself with something that does bind it should be fine

I want to clarify. The positive/negative effect of borrowed time is applied to the NEXT turn, and count decreases at the end of THIS turn, borrowed time simply ends before negative consequences. Therefore, yes, they cannot stagger themselves without bind from outside

33:04 Korean VAs say Ga Sichun, but Jia Xichun as text reads is correct for actual Chinese pronunciation. Chinese names in Korea is bit weird, basically think of how Peter is Pietro in Italy or how Alexander is Iskandar in arabic countries. Long story short, Chinese influenced other surrounding languages, so Korea, Japan, Vietnam all adopted Chinese letters at one point and have their own way of pronouncing Chinese letters. Just like how Japan uses Kanji(Chinese letters but altered a bit by Japanese), Koreans too uses Hanja(Chinese letters but altered a bit by Koreans). It's comparable to Phoenician/Latin's influence on European languages. Also VAs call Jia Huan as Ga Hwan for same reason.

I kinda disagree with your take on Hong Lu. He did change during the game, notice how he doesn't drop "Ahaha, is this how poor people live?" type comments as much as before. It's just that it doesn't touch on his core behavior (his detachment) so it's less noticeable. (Also, I'd say that the most notable change Heathcliff had before Canto 6 was after Canto 3 concluded and he stopped bullying Sinclair so hard)

54:37 every grade is roughly 2 to 3 times stronger than the previous, from what I calculated: grade 9 is like 3 rats 8 is like 3 9s ETC, so, the power gap grows with each grade (which is obvious already) and I asses that colo(u)r grade is about 3 to 4 times stronger than grade 1, yet as Roland said: it depends on specifics, maybe some colo(u)r could take on 5 grade 1s, but some other would be just about able to beat 2 of them back to back (as opposed to all at once) and it is no coincidence that colo(u)rs are the thing used for grading the highest rank fixers, as as far as I know, there is a dozen of colo(u)r fixers at most. that being said, this Hana association member here is waaaay up her own ass, fixers who routinely fight "urban nightmare" level threats are definitely within the top 10% strongest people in the city, and even grade 5 fixers are nothing to scoff on

There’s a bit of nuance when it comes to scaling the gap between grade 1 and color fixers, though this wouldn’t be evident if you only played the games. There are some fixers that seem to not have colors that apparently contend with being the strongest in the city according to Roland (twitter post of convo with Gebura when she asked who was the strongest currently). Siegefried was named among them, and the indigo elder was also in the list i think before he received his color, which came after he hunted the marlin whale. I think in conclusion, there’s a huge gap within grade 1 fixers themselves, from Siegefried to Nemo (tbf maybe he is strong, but I can’t see him pulling off stuff some other grade 1s did…)
