I like to trade my 2nd round picks for receivers usually with a bit of upside. Traded a 2nd and 4th for Hollywood Brown after his WR-2 finish in Baltimore and it looks like I'm finally cashing in this year while he's with Mahomes. This year i traded a 2nd and 4th for Godwin while he's going back to the slot (2019).

My second round picks in my only rookie draft were Kincaid and Laporta last year. I sent a package with Laporta away for Kyler. This year my player was Wright. Hopefully that works out. Appreciate your content. From my initial draft, I thought seconds were pretty easy. Now I’m looking at everyone else’s 2nd round pick and I can see how easy it is to miss.

Early seconds are my favorite asset to target. You can get them so cheap and flip them for cash if you time it right. Sold high on will Levi’s last year for 3 early 2024 seconds. Flipped those seconds and Jayden Reed for garret Wilson and BTJ during rookie hype szn.

Got an offer I’d love you opinion on: would you take aj brown for Addison, reed, and a 2026 2nd? Keep in mind I have a pretty deep wr room, and the only direct roster difference would be brown in my lineup instead of reed. (Obviously I lose a lot of depth and youth though)

1. AJB for that is really cheap 2. Addison’s production was partially based off of TD’s and sharing a crowded room. I think his ceiling is capped sadly for one of my fav rookies. 3. There’s a chance Reed is the WR1 but even if he is, him pulling away significantly from the crowd.

2nd round picks are good to basically play zero RB this year n restock rb in 2025.. sold swift for a late first n bought Aaron Jones for a mid second. That domino led to me selling Nico Collins as well n getting an extra 2025 early to mid first davonte Adams n an upside shot in Christian Watson. 2 firsts next year. Competing this year n remodeling in 2025. Best strategy

Could Achane be at peak value right now? I got him at 2.02 (10tm, 1QB) and I'm asking a lot...but I don't want to get left holding the bag like you said you did with Rondale Moore. I've also got McCaffrey, Gibbs, Kamara, Walker, and ZWhite; but my top WRs are aging (Hill, Adams, Allen, Higgins, Olave, Sutton)

The lesson here is sell your second round picks for proven veterans who have possibly have more than one year left because idiots value these picks when they are almost worthless. You can trade a second for Amari cooper or Mike Evans. They will be good this year and possibly next year and the Ronald Moore of this year will always suck.

A year ago when ARSB was injured I traded him for Mike Williams and a 2025 1st. Don’t think that really worked out for me. Easy to cherry pick stats but in reality it’s all just luck.
