Okay but why is Penny obsessed with Sheldon's spot. For someone who always wants to sit where Sheldon sits in his own apartment that he's owned for years, tha the later ends up moving out of for Penny + Leonard's sake, its quite remarkable that she doesn't understand why he likes the spot. Also for people who call Sheldon a jerk for this, someone's obsessive compulsive safety bubble is a hardwired thing. I don't know how anyone can expect someone like Sheldon untested for such disorders to know how to make conscious, therapeutic efforts to change his hard coded comforts. And it's a miracle that he makes the strides he does in the show. And no, it's not because his friends are all judgy, stubborn assholes about it who won't just baby him. Well, yes, it's cuz he's not babied and allowed to continue in his safety bubble, but it's still his own largely unsupported efforts to make changes. None of the characters remotely make any sympathetic attempts at developing Sheldon beyond his idiosyncrasies. They just attack and chastise him for it and he has to change them himself or else risk losing his friends who don't like the person he is.

Oh, it does. If someone was to spill something on my spot, I would be so mad... I agree with him, the tv is at the perfect angle, you can see your surroundings and all that. Here's a question when they shot q paintball on his spit why didn't they replace it with one of the other cushions on the couch they could of done it
@bilwajoshi10923 жыл бұрын
They did. Howard had replaced the cushion with another one on the couch but sheldon said that it was not an appropriate solution; metaphorically, if his (Howard's) head was amputated, replacing it with that of a goat was not a right solution. Hence, he needed that very spoiled cushion back in it's normal form. You should watch the episode, it's really funny.😂
@michaelscottspapercompany3 жыл бұрын
He realised it even when the cushion was upside down. What makes you think he won't realise it when they completely change the cushion itself.
