I'd love to know where you found a 3 Euro way to cross, cause the lowest one I can find is like 56 Euros for a round way, which doesn't even take into account the trip from where I am to the boarding place, nor the trip from the landing area to Edinburgh, and I unfortunately can't even afford that to start with... I'd have totally tried to make it otherwise.

It's one of the town's oldest butchers and probably its best. No joke, you might find yourself wanting to take some home its that nice.

Hmmm, the day before my wedding anniversary. I'm pretty sure we as a family could muster the huge 2 hour/80mile journey to the Scottish capital from slightly south of the border. I was saying to the Mrs just the other week, as we travelled back and forth across the border, up to Jedburgh and then home, that we should go up to Edinburgh at some point.... This presents the perfect opportunity. A 3 in one. Celebrate 13 years of marriage, a nice day out in Edinburgh and meet up with Quill and possibly some internet weirdos. I myself do use the internet but am definitely not a weirdo. I am most definitely a very normal, non weird person. 😉 🤔 I might even have a couple of spare seats in my car if any other non weirdos need a lift from SW, very northern England.
