This is how I felt growing up. Since the 1980s Gulf War we had heard of our parents and the news talking about if war erupted anywhere, what are we gonna do? . Where are we gonna go? . I remember asking my mother where do u think it would be safe to hide? . We don't have bunkers we don't have a basement so I thought oh god we're gonna be the ones to die 1st. There was always and still is a threat. But I remember at that very same time. We had a young baby born. My brother. He was a baby and I feared for his life and how is my mother going to look after all of us and a baby. I was honestly very scared and anxious person during this time. I hated been out of my home. I hated been too far away from home I didn't want to go out often and I think it began my reclusive behaviour that's still with me today. I was too afraid of been caught up in an attack and I wasn't home and the fear to get home quick enough just so we can all be together. I was such a scared person. Jesus man I'm sorry to reply to u like this but I thought I'd reply to ur message. It never leaves you tbh.

You no idea how many scenarios have these alerts in them, but they often used for cheap scares or expedition dumps (you would be shocked how many times I’ve heard some variation of “lie down and except your fate” in EAS videos lol). These actually sound like messages the government would put out. They reassure the public, instruct on what to do, and most importantly avoid using panic inducing language. I call bullshit on that. We live in a world where “zombie” is in the lexicon. It was a stylistic choice for the walking dead, and guess what? In TWD comics they still used the word however scarcely. @trev0rcRs3 ай бұрын
@@CreepyCat. dunno why you're so angry over an opinion to the point that you're being insulting but here: The government programs in the states could give a damn about anyones lexicom when addressing the public. TWD is not an official source as to how our government programs will act in these situations, so idk why that was even a source you decided to use😂 US Govt information sources are going to use factual statements and wouldn't use slang when referencing infected persons just because popular media uses it, hence why you never hear PR reps for govt or even Dr. Fauci use "rona" "the vid" or "Wuhan Virus" when they address the masses to inform them about said disease. The most you will see is them is when they drop the '-19' from 'Covid-19'. Even further, they wouldn't reference popular media depictions of viruses or diseases because that again, isn't factual, which is what they want and need to stick to being. 😂 call bullshit all you want, I criticised a tiny point out of the entirety of the thing, which I loved overall and said as much.

@@CreepyCat. Lmao first of all I dunno why you're all upsetti spaghetti to the point of attempting to insult when I stated that I loved the work, but hey, not everyone is strong enough take even one grain of criticism, even if it wasn't criticism for you 😂 Call bullshit all you want, US government communications could give a shit about what is considered lexicon or not. When passing information to the public, whatever info they choose to release is only through factual statements and language. They aren't going to use popularized fiction that you may or may not even know of to give you an example of what they are talking about, they are going to give you exact descriptions. They are also certainly not going to use 'zombie' as a descriptor for infected individuals when divulging info, because that's a sensationalized description, they will most likely continue to call them the infected. Similarly, you'll notice how the only names for pathogenic diseases that they discuss with the public are the properly adopted names, and the scientific names. Officials refrain from using "rona" "the vid" and "Wuhan virus" in reference to Covid-19, and they'd do the same for a zombie virus. Also I am unsure why you are using a fictional work such as TWD as a reference in this argument, but sure? Glad the comics broke the "walker" designation a couple times by using 'zombie'😂😂

I think there was a missed opportunity here. Instead of having official sounding emergency alerts throughout the entire video, it would have been cool if part way through the broadcast some reporter and engineer comes on to announce that they lost their link to the station in town and are broadcasting directly from the radio tower (in the forested hills, mountain, desert) 10-20 miles from town. Then slowly build tension as the reporter first recounts his car ride to get to the tower location and proceeds to give both official and unofficial reports of check points, no go zones, safe and unsafe public shelters, traffic jams, blockades, etc. Sprinkle in some on-the-scene callers with all the ambient zombie apocalypse noises. I think I just pitched a podcast series 😂😂

I wish the first few minutes was a lighthearted song or some common, basic advertisement before the emergency broadcasting happened, to give the calm before the storm. I love this though. Great for the Halloween season and reminds me of the extras from the 2004 Dawn of the Dead, which had news broadcasts covering the emergence, spread and impact of the dead.

B42 is truly amazing. The new features added, there's so many that I don't know where to start. From the sound of the oven, or you bag pack or the sound of the radio from the lightning system, animals, new mechanic the insane amount of weapons objects added and more, the mixing liquid system. Now you can use any container to add liquid inside included milk carton. I even found a Lightpen. It's insane. I start to understand why this update took so long. At first glance, when you look at the principal features, you'd say to yourself, it's big but it's not that big why they're taking so long? But look at everything else (things they didn't tell us) and I love the voices

Finding myself drawn back to this after needing a few day's break. This fills me with intense anxiety yet I'm so interested in the pacing of the story and the stylistic comparisons to the Last of Us opening. Instead of a direct narrative, we get situation that feels like it's rapidly worsening regardless of our perception. The sirens in the background or over the radio, hearing a helicopter flying low or suddenly being unable to reach someone on the phone. The images of increasing panic, heavier weapons being used to cordon off a key area or people suddenly realising that their family member needs to be restrained immediately, that my mind is able to conjure are so effective

A few days actually. Autolysis (enzymatic self-digestion) would degrade the tissue beyond use quickly. Rigor mortis isn't optional and ends when the muscles dont have the ability to contract from loss of chemicals. Reanimated 'fresh corpses' aren't much of a prolonged threat. Zombies like the ones in the video would each pass away in 3 days tops without water or the instinct to drink.

@@akaroth7542isnt it autophagy instead of autolysis? Or are they the same things
@akaroth7542Ай бұрын
@@FarihaKhan-h5e Autophagy is self-cannibalism: like you eating your own hand like a McRib. Autolysis iir is unchecked enzyme release from dead cells that chemically breaks a body down, rather than just decomp. Decomp in total is autolysis, bacterial and fungal activity, and scavenging by insects and animals. This is off the top of my (living) head.
