You're My Best Friend - Queen + Adam Lambert: LIVE at Hammersmith

On the final night of the first run of shows with Adam Lambert, Brian May leads his backing choir (the audience of the Hammersmith Apollo) in paying tribute to absent bass legend John Deacon by playing a unique accoustic version of the Deacon penned hit 'You're My Best Friend' - The previous nights had featured accoustic versions of 'The Show Must Go On' and 'Somebody To Love'.

I know he probably doesn't watch these sorts of things, but I kinda hope someone linked this video to John. I hope it made him feel special, hearing the crowd get excited and recognise his song from just a couple of notes, and then sing it with Brian, as loud and beautiful as ever they sang for Freddie doing Love of My Life. We love you, John!

Should be called queen essence or something like that. I guess a couple hundred young dumb fans who don’t know any better may still watch.
