Although astrology is described as the study of the placement and movements of celestial bodies within a moment in time, what the vast majority of folks do not realize is that it’s actually about gravitational influences on your body/mind/soul. The celestial bodies distance/direction from your birthplace is essentially what is being studied when it comes to your personality traits, and throughout your life. Obviously the moon’s gravity impacts so much of everything that occurs on earth. But the distance and location of much larger bodies such as Jupiter technically do have gravitational influence on the happenings here on earth. As minuscule as it may seem, that is what astrology is studying. Mystical knowledge passed down for thousands of years that came from “somewhere”. Newspaper horoscopes are not astrology. Also the sheer mathematics involved in practicing real astrology is so utterly impressive. You have to account for the wobbling of the earth, and so many things that weren’t even known to science until the modern age. Yet, it was always part of astrology for thousands of years. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think astrology can be super fun…I’m pretty spot-on to all Scorpio traits but I have several friends that don’t match their sign descriptions at all. My approach is to think of each astrological sign as a separate season for you to focus on the lesson each sign represents. Examples would be seeking balance in your life during Libra or seeking independence during Sagittarius. I think it’s a great exercise for staying present in your life and helps you to work on self-improvement.

That's not how astrology works though. People don't have the same traits. A Leo is not just a Leo. An Aquarius is not just an Aquarius. Everyone has different combinations of signs and planetary placements that make them unique. Three people can be Leos and all three can be different Leos.

it's mercury is retrograde, not mercury in retrograde, there are no cusps - each sign is 30 degrees. Look at your rising sign, if you know your time of birth, as it relates to the self and the 1st house. You will probably resonate with it more than your sun sign.

I hate astrology because it's a lazy way to say you have personality. Personality means traits like being witty, sarcastic, rough, or even just kind. Conversating about your sign, in my opinion, is the same level as someone going into grave detail on why they have blue eyes and brown teeth.
