Just subscribed today and I want to say this message was truly for me and so glad it appeared on my feed. This is exactly how I was feeling and everyday I have been praying and allowing God to just allow me to be present and content because like you mentioned we truly have everything we need know and I love the garden aspect “ so essentially if the devil can’t plant seeds , the garden won’t grow in our mind “ and that’s something I had to jot down in my notes to remember . Thank you for allowing God to use you 💞💞💞

I don’t people were supposed to have multiple wives as a commandment from God. I think it just showed men’s corrupt character that we still have today. God wat was always one man and woman. Even back then. Great video. Needed to here this one

One thing that has completely changed me is that I used to blindly follow all customs and traditions until I started asking God to reveal the lies. Jeremiah 10. Nehemiah 13:25-29. Sorry to rain on your parade. I stopped celebrating ALL HOLIDAYS because they are not of GOD. With love, sister Stewart. Growth is hard but necessary.

I would describe comparison as a choice that is made from a place of discontentment. A discontentment rooted in a lack of gratitude and insecurity. It's a sign that your eyes are off of Jesus and onto the world.

@growingthroughitpodАй бұрын
You are more than enough! And even better than that, God is PERFECT and He decided to create you. How beautiful is that? That a perfect God had you in mind and made you exactly the way you are. You are so special to Him, a true daughter of a king. I come against that lie right now in Jesus name that you’re not enough, you are incredible in God’s eyes ❤️

Jesus says if you hate your life you can be His desciple
@growingthroughitpod2 ай бұрын
Hi friend! Thank you so much for bringing this up because God's word is so important. I understand where you're coming from with the Luke 14:26 verse, but it's important to understand the context. Jesus was teaching that our devotion to Him should be so strong that we are willing to prioritize Him above all other things, even our own life. He wasn't saying we should hate our lives, but rather that we should be willing to let go of anything that stands between us and our full commitment to following Him. In the same way, while Jesus says in this scripture that we must 'hate' our father and mother, He is not literally telling us to despise them. The Bible also says in Ephesians 6:2-3, 'Honor your father and mother'-which is the first commandment with a promise-'so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.' Jesus' message here is that if a relationship, even with our parents, keeps us from following God and His will for our lives, we must choose to obey God first. In this video, I'm talking about making our lives centered around Jesus and not the comparisons of this world. For years, I hated the life God gave me and hated myself, and that mindset kept me from all that God has for me. Loving the life God gave us and finding our worth in Him is about prioritizing Him over all else and living out His purpose for our lives. Thank you so much for sharing this again!

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through, and I want you to know that I’ll be praying for you. Your situation isn’t something I take lightly. I want to share a bit of my story-not for pity, but to remind you that you’re not alone and that God is always faithful. I grew up in an abusive home where one of my parents struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol my entire life. The first time I witnessed domestic violence, I was just 4 years old. That parent was in and out of jail, and by the time I was 11, the police came to my middle school. They told me, in front of my classmates, that they knew I had witnessed abuse at home and needed me to give a statement. It was humiliating, confusing, and traumatic all at once. I was bullied as a child and struggled to make friends. I felt ugly and unloved for as long as I can remember. By 13, I had been diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and general anxiety disorder. At 14, I reached a point where I felt I didn’t want to live anymore. Around that time, I started working because we never had much money growing up. I attended a school where many kids came from wealthy families, and if I wanted anything nice, I had to work to earn it. For years, I struggled with depression, nightmares, and the overwhelming feeling that I couldn’t escape my circumstances. But I don’t share this for sympathy-I truly don’t feel sorry for myself. My story was hard, yes, but through it all, a good and amazing God was at the center of everything. Jesus saved me from myself, and I’m so thankful for the life He has given me. He took my pain and used it to shape me into a more loving and compassionate person, and He deserves all the glory. So, please don’t assume someone has had a “soft” life-because you never know what someone has been through. I pray that you find peace, healing, and hope, and that you never forget how deeply loved you are by God. God bless you.
