You burn off more weight then you gain as a hero remember every fight takes stamina and you need to be fed well epically in deku's case he needs all the strength he can, get because he burns off so much weight fighting villains and him gaining is actually in the manga and it shows him as more stronger! he looked healthy and didn't lack strength which is good

Body fat distribution in a body can differ from person to person, 2 people can have the same weight but look completly different, and truth is that being fat is not inheretly a bad thing, you might get called that even when you're at peak health, not to mention that this sort of behavior can lead to serius damage, such as E.D, check with your doctors if you truly feel like your weight is getting in the way of your health, but what matters the most is to be happy and content with who you are. (Also, and this isn't excusing All Might, but maybe there's a bit of projecting here, or even jealousy, A.M is missing part of his organs, so maybe he hasn't come into terms with the fact he isn't who he was and wants Deku to be a clone of himself, but he's also giving him the same treatment he gives himself, the foods Deku is eating are a giveaway, cause is something easy to digest and is light, still a shitty thing to do)
