I can relate to Ang's freaking out about the mice. We had some in Colorado, and I went to Ace Hardware and bought every kind of trap. I didn't sleep well for a few nights because our motion sensor lights in the living room would come on several times, and I just knew the rodents were scurrying around! Finally, we caught 3 in the sticky traps and used spray foam in their access points.

We are full timers as well, but we built our filtration system since most of these "shiny, sexy (😳), stainless steel" systems are simply too expensive. We use the dreaded 10 inch canister system, using 2x5 micron carbon filters which not only filters sediment, but also reduces nearly to zero, chlorine taste (our coach has a built-in 10in canister - again, carbon - and the fridge has a proprietary carbon filter so our water is fantastic). Anyway, building it yourself will cost about $40 and accepts standard size hoses and readily available filters. We found that the quick connect does not reduce pressure, but it does reduce volume (we have a class A with dishwasher, washer/dryer). So, something else to think about when you're fawning over something shiny and "restaurant quality" in the already over-priced and less-than-reliable RV world.

Having a Home building business and being in the Residential and Commercial building business since the mid to late 70s I appreciated time change. I know it’s not for everyone but it was nice for us to get an early start in the morning. Being new Campers 3 years in…after 2023 camping season I opened a drawer and laying on our towels was a mama mouse with 4 babies stuck to her. We had to throw everything in the drawer away. I spent hours foaming every hole I could find and within two weeks caught all five mice. We have mouse traps everywhere and haven’t seen any since thank goodness!

@RVUntetheredАй бұрын
Both are good brands, but we are preferring the DJI. We busted the glass on our Rode transmitter, so we didn’t trust it and we’ll use it as a backup. The sound just seems better on DJI and they are a little easier to see if there is a problem. WIND is much better with DJI. The only negative we see, is that the screen and buttons are easy to hit by accident, so we are learning. Everything just seems a bit simpler.
