I got an X-Bows Crystal keyboard which is identical the Vicky. The Crystal helped me move to a Columnar othro that I use now. I still switch to Alice and standard 60% boards all the time. And I don't have issues switching. Using a Columnar ortho has really helped with my poor typing practices. Nice video! And Love that you have a thumb trackball mouse!

Yeah, the Vicky really pointed out my flaws. But man is it hard to unlearn some things when you get older. Thanks for the comment on the trackball, while I switch between the MX and this, I really miss my old Logitech with the massive red ball.

Interesting... This got me thinking about how I use my keyboard, and apparently, I _only_ use the right shift... This means that my left hand hovers over the keyboard and handles a lot more keys than it should. Then again, I am left-handed, so it kind of makes sense. The other thing is that as a programmer, I regularly use parenthesis, braces and brackets. Reaching those without leaving the home position for my index fingers feels very uncomfortable, so I'll probably stick to my hovering finger approach.

I always found that relearning the special characters was the hardest, mostly because we don't use them as often as the regular keys and that results in a longer learning session. Did have a go at trying to put them on a layer but it just messes with my brain.
