@jeffSu. You are one of my most favourite youtubers, here's why: No bs content, no overly complex designs/concepts, no dramatic music. Just straight forward minimal content that I can perceive to utmost level You replies/reacts to most of the comments which creates conversational atmosphere rather than a boring class. This is extremely rare(in youtubers) and very hard for you having 6L+ subs You include timestamps, video length is just perfect(not too lengthy, not too short), 2-3 videos a month makes your content rich( I have seen many youtubers who dilute their content by repeating upload everyday which causes confusion)

late in commenting, it works both on Gemini and Co-pilot, however, it seems that Gemini can extract more pictures from the source materials or external materials in that manner. Jeff you're really doing hard work, even if you have AI and skilled helpers behind. Just the text prompt to come up, as a human, its already hard enough. the way you have managed to loop relevancy for any job field out there is amazing. for those who have been taking notes, copy what jeff has done but, insert [. ] for those with specific job roles or where there is frequent variables, so that when you copy and paste the text, it will be as easy as filling in the blanks

@JeffSu. It's been a few months since I've watched this video and it's excellent. The "Ask me 5 questions that will improve the response you will be giving me." is great. After a few months later, I've edited it in your Mistake #3 section to be "Ask me 5 relevant clarification questions with detailed examples that will improve the response you will be giving me.". Here's why: Job searches, resumes, job descriptions, etc. I find that when ChatGPT asks me the 5 questions, I struggled to answer them; Mostly because as a jobseeker (with no work nor volunteer experience at all), I'm so unsure of myself. So, the edited version does ask the 5 questions but with detailed examples.
@a.srijamorn3610Ай бұрын
@JeffSu. Here's an example, if you need clarification: """ Thanks for sharing more about your background and details. Here are 5 relevant clarification questions with examples that will help me give you a more tailored response to your computer skills and possibly how to present them for specific situations, like job applications or everyday use: 1. Can you describe a specific task or project where you’ve used Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams in the past? - Example: Did you use Zoom for group discussions, webinars, or presentations? Were you managing meetings or just attending? This will help me understand your proficiency and confidence level with these platforms. 2. When using email platforms like Microsoft Outlook or Gmail, what specific challenges do you face when composing the body of the email? - Example: Do you struggle with organizing your thoughts, choosing the right tone, or finding the right words to explain things? Do you find it hard to add proper signatures or additional details like job titles, links, or company logos? 3. Have you ever encountered a technical issue (like a slow internet connection, an error message on a website, or a software bug) and tried to solve it yourself? - Example: Even if you couldn’t solve it fully, did you attempt to look up solutions online or ask someone for help? This will help clarify your problem-solving skills. 4. What kind of tasks have you used Google Drive for, and how comfortable are you with managing files or collaborating on documents with others? - Example: Have you uploaded files, shared links with others, or edited documents simultaneously with someone else? Understanding the specific features you use can help assess your skill level in cloud storage and file management. 5. Do you prefer written or video-based learning when it comes to improving your skills? - Example: For example, would you rather watch a KZbin tutorial on how to create detailed email signatures or read a guide? This can help me provide advice on learning strategies that work best for you. Answering these questions will help me refine how I can assist you in developing or presenting your computer skills!"""

I am a sort of expert in certain areas of darts. Try this in the sport of darts and you realize, chatgpt does not really know anything, but it assumes quite convincingly and sounds very accurate even when it is not. I am keeping that in my mind when watching how you put in contents that I know nothing about. For example, ask chat gpt what segment ls and numbers are on a dartboard and it will answer correctly. Ask chat gpt what result you get when you add up all the values on a dartboard and you will get a wrong answer. To a novice, that answer seems correct. One would also expect chat gpt to be good ad this mathematical task, so you are likely to trust the outcome.

I guess it's a good thing I'm not using this for darts 😂

Great video and brilliant tips, thank you very much! I have one question: I’ve learned, when you upload a PDF to ChatGPT that it learns from it and can replicate the information to other users. You didn’t mention this when you uploaded the PDF in your video. What’s the story with that?

What do you mean? I wasn't trying to hide that 😂, it just didn't seem like a big deal to me. Pretty sure every online tool stores our private information...

7:54 Jeff, frankly, I think you are one of the leaders of this short-form epidemic we are facing 😆, caused by TikTok, Reels, .., and now AI summarizing feature. Maybe sooner, writers and content creators will not see a point(and profit) in creating any detailed content(book, podcast, lecture, and even articles), because our Z gen cannot endure it, and they will use AI tools to summarize it. Sadly, our attention span is getting horribly and unrealistically short, and we know, most things that are valuable need detailed explanation, conciseness comes after comprehensiveness, as a supplementary not a replacement. Btw, I love your videos, and I love AI, and I'm very grateful to you for teaching me how to effectively leverage it, yet the concerns are intimidating, I hope you'll make some videos talking about attention span and patience.

I totally hear you my friend! I guess my approach is more about dealing with reality as opposed to what "ought to be" 😅
