Awesome , again my friend AND I AM actually getting a new iPad nexr week, The timing is excellent for your video. Here in Winnipeg we are getting the upcoming winter temperatures, 2 or 3 Celius at night and only 4 or 5 for high. Summer shirts nowhere to be seen. thanks again for your great video. Great stuff easy to understand - what do you think would be the easiest way make a collection of my favourite recipes both copied from web pages and hard copy magazines etc and maybe my own hand written ones and keep these in an organised document or folder etc - preferably without having to buy or subscribe to a third party app ?

Personally, I would (and do) use the Notes app. Create a folder for recipes, and start exporting and cleaning up your existing recipes. You can take them from websites and reformat and clean them up (you just want the text and pics none of the website extra stuff). Same goes for your scans and handwritten stuff. It will take some time to clean up what you have and make it user friendly, but once you have put all your old stuff in and organized it, it will be much easier for you to maintain the organization. Feel free to write me back (or book some time with me) for additional tips and more specific guidance.

Is there a way to put multiple apps in the App Library not a folder without doing 1 by 1?

ALL apps are already in the App Library, so the question should be "is there a way to REMOVE multiple apps from my home screen and folders all at once... and the answer is yes. Take any home page, and move whatever apps you want to KEEP on the home pages over to another page, then press and hold on the dots at the bottom of your pages (that represent all the other pages), once things wiggle, click again and you will pee in a page view screen where you can uncheck any entire pages to hide them... once they are hidden if you click the minus button it will remove ALL apps from that page. That's the easiest way to clean house. Don't worry if you end up losing a few apps that way, you can always bring any necessary apps back from the app library by simply clicking on it and dragging to back to one of the home pages.

For the average person without needing technical stuff can the iPad replace a computer?

If you see the iPad as a data consumption device meant for watching videos, checking emails, going on websites and basic document creation than yes, without a doubt. The more documents or data you need to generate, the harder it gets. The more apps you need open the more complicated it becomes. I do video editing, writing, graphic design and more... which I can do on my Ipad, but when I need to do them together, going from one app to another, and pulling information from multiple sources (emails, multiple websites, images and apps) I miss the mouse and full keyboard, and mostly the easily ability to smoothly shift between several apps at once. iPadOS 16 got us way closer, but there's no way I could function on an iPad alone.

I'd like to see a way to label the pages without using the $20 per year app that you mentioned. I can't pay $20 a year to every app that I use. I would easily have an additional $500 per year in app subscriptions.

Both Color Widgets and Widgetsmith have a free version that will allow you to do most of what I talked about. Widget Smith was a little easier with the free version…
