First time Fold user of Fold 4. I was really worried about using smart switch transfer but I'm really glad I did. I had the Note 10 and the experience was quick and easy. FYI:. There is a point when you can use your new phone and it will seem your original set up and folders did not take. Relax and wait, you will see everything fall into place shortly. Just be patient period and it happens gradually in front of your eyes.

great video , 👌, I have a problem : I found out the new Fold 4 did not remember my FaceBook password,... after installed and logged in then logged out, when I came back to FB, I encountered that FB keeps asking for password. In the old phone, the password was remembered and it automatically filled in when log in facebook, I called ( and lost a whole day with Samsung support ) but it appeared the matter could not be resolved, debugged. Have you encountered such a problem ? or could you find out how to fix this... it appeared that something in the new operating system of Samsung that did this ( prevent the system to fill out the remembered password that stored in the samsung Pass )

This may be inappropriate here, but our voices on the Samsung community looked unheard. And all the phone channels do not seem to be aware of the issue with Samsung Fold 3. After the latest firmware update, many of us have found our Wi-Fi module is no longer working. And when we went to the service centre, the repair involved a changing of the entire screen and is a SGD 660 repair cos the wifi module is connected to the screen. And worse, the warranty after repair is only for a month. Isn't this a design flaw? When was the last time you had a wi-fi failure. Are the Fold 4 and the incoming 5 designed the same way? Are other foldable designed similarly or has such critical failure rate? I will have to appeal for the social influencer to help get answers. Thank you.

If you pick up both, one after another, you can kinda tell the difference, but it's nothing dramatic. It certainly wouldn't be a reason to upgrade.

If you preorder from Samsung's website and live in the US, you'll be able to wait until you get your new phone before you have to send the old one back. I personally have until September 6th to send my trade ins to Samsung. Alternatively, if you buy the phone in a store, they should give you time to transfer your data using the transfer method shown in this video before they take your old phone. I don't recommend trying to transfer data if you won't have your iPhone with you because you won't be able to transfer important things like your messages. To see the differences, go to the "transfer from iPhone" and "transfer from iCloud" time codes in this video. Edit: You may be able to wait until you receive your new device from Samsung if you live in other countries as well, I'm just not positive on which countries those are. It should tell you how long you have when you select to trade in your old phone. I hope that helps!

I used fold 3 only 2 weeks. No push notifications. Late notifications. Missed calls. No iMessage. Samsung notifications are stacked mixed and scrambled. Switched to iphone 13max. Everything came back to normal. I never miss any notififcations. Notifications are listed timely manner on iPhone. I dont like iphone but iphone is 100 times better than Samsu ng
