I have been a professional DJ for over 10 years and sadly I’ve been wrapping my cables the wrong way #2, putting the ends together and folding and creating a knot in the middle. Over-under from here on out! Thank you wise sir!

I totally expected you to rap/sing about wrapping cables. That would be awesome and a great way to help remember over-under! Also, another great reason to use over-under is so any casual helper can pull the cable straight out (without having to use any unwrapping methods) without getting a single kink. If you do that with over-over, you'll get kinks.

Sir when you are teaching people something most don't know, you have the right to invent new words. Our Roadies used to use a figure eight method of wrapping cables no doubt this is why we had so many failed ones.

@@ShirSoulMusic I'll see if I can find a video with it, but the short version is that you bring it in normally with one pull, then you flip your hand upside-down, grab, and then return it to the normal position as you're bringing the cable up. It's how I tie all my cables since learning it.
