I'm a weird case, I use my R1 almost every day and I really like it. I always have it on the living room table in its dock ready to give it some command than another. But having smartphones with ChatGPT and virtual assistants in smart speakers around the house, makes the R1 is a toy, not a tool, and it is important to see it this way; it even seems that Rabbit itself does not realize it. The Big Mac is not a gourmet dish, but it doesn't pretend to be either (and we all want one from time to time). That's what's important to enjoy it and play with it: IT'S-A-TOY. Can it end up being a tool in the future? It may be and I hope so, but it's not today.

Personally i think the R1 is great. It’s way better to just ask a question out loud then to have to open apps and type and read. I haven’t done an old school typing web search since before this summer when I received the R1. I discus alternative explanations to newtonian mechanics with it, explore metaphysics with references and have it make word scrambles for elementary kids, that stuff is time consuming the old way.

I have a Rabbit but I very rarely use it as my phone, with chatgpt in advanced voice mode is simply much more powerful. And that's always gonna be the issue for these additional devices. Once someone brings out some glasses that actually do what Meta Raybans have failed at yet promised then the game may change. But not till then and that's why Humane's Pin and Rabbit will struggle and eventually die. I've heard Google are supposedly bringing out some XR Glasses next year so let's hope they do and actually stay the course longer than their much loved Google Glass which they killed unnecessarily....

Its a pure ai assistant walkie talkie without annyoing notifications messages ADS, absolutely hate ADS…. and easier to use, simple useful cute if you dont like it ok but its not just a app, its a own device/gadget/ai assistant without subscription dept or worries
