Great video. You did a great job with really capturing the fun you will be having with this board. I really enjoyed the second person filming, really felt like I was there. And that trail riding was sweet, looking pretty technical flying between those smaller trees. like you said, you get alot for what you pay for. My dad has some great land behind his house. And theres a Frisbee golf course that would be a dream to ride on. Even at $1,999 which is a great price, Is more then I'm willing to spend right now. But dang, my mouths watering over here haha. But yes once again great video and safe travels. Peace

Videos are getting better. Looks like the YT compression is still killing 360 cam dark scenes. That board does indeed look really nice!

Yeah, I do not understand. I upload in 4k and the video looks great locally but here the compression makes it so grainy.

Thx, great review! Contemplating buying this board or the X1. Please let me know what you would buy and also info on where to find the bindings? Honest opinions on if you could only own one board what would you choose?

If I was going to do a lot of climbing where the ground is loose I would get the X1. The 4wd really shines when climbing in sand, rocks or dirt. For trail riding or everything else, the ride of the Z1 is much more comfortable and stable because of the trucks style and width. The deck flexes which is nice and I also prefer it for street because of the width. It also has more range which I love. Overall, if I could only have one I would take the Z1. I just open my bindings all the way on street so I can bail if needed, although I have never had to yet. My bindings are Trampa's. I have noticed on reddit more people seem to like the MBS bindings but I have not tried them. They are not available in my country.

Ahh I did not even mention it. It is the same remote that comes with the Ares X1. Pretty basic remote. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for the great comment. I broke my 360 camera making this video with a nice fall. Sent it in for repair. Who knows how long it will take though.

Hey, very good your nyx z1 videos. I have a meepo voyager that I like, but I would like to buy a mountain board because sometimes off-road, city jumps, freestyle. I vary 2 boards. Acedeck Nyx z1 or p-bee pro. The p bee pro measures 15 kg and battery compackt but not on top. What do you think?

For off road, rolling down curbs and not worrying about roots on trails or other obstacles I would want the battery on top. For dirt, mud and general convenience I would want gear drives. For high speed stability I would want the wider NYX trucks. So to me the NYX Z1 wins in most categories. The NYX also has a lot more torque which is very helpful on steep hills or for powerful launches. However it is heavier and will take more effort to lift the back when jumping. Don't get me wrong, the P-bee looks like a pretty sweet board and could be great for how you ride. A lighter board is certainly easier to jump. I did see in DKs video the battery bottomed out on the steps jump though. How do you plan to ride?

In this case I think you will be happy with either board really. However the NYX will have a lot more torque if you are power hungry!

Of course you could but this board is built for climbing. If you just wanna go street then id recommend getting acedeck's first board. Its an all terrain board but built more for the street.

This board requires the wheel attaches to a special adapter plate that connects to the gear drives. Just like most gear driven boards. So unless that street wheel has a standard hub bolt pattern to attach the plate to they wont work. Street tires, gummies, stuff like this would work.

If you want a gear drive with a street wheel setup, you should either use boardnamics m1 urethane gear drives or 3dservisas. I like street wheels, too. I've got the boardnamics dual gear drives with torqueboards 110mm wheels on my diy board. Diy is the way to go. 🤙🏻

The deck comes drilled and ready for bindings but you would need to buy them. I heard through the grapevine that they will have their own bindings soon.

I just bought a Nyx Z1, now waiting for the shipping 😭. What bindings do you use in that video? What bindings would you recommend?

I am using the Trampa ratchet bindings. They are the only ones I have ever tried. (outside of some dirt cheap ones) Trampas seem great to me. However, on reddit and on the esk8 discord people always say the MBS bindings are better. They are not available in my country though.

I do not advise running from police. The real question here is, how well do you ride? I don't think I have the skills for any kind of chase.

Are people getting slammed with import duty and GST when ordering Acedeck and other Chinese eSkate boards? It adds another $500+ depending on the board, which makes it a deal breaker for me.

Absolutely, turning radius can be nice and tight.
