It is refreshing to see young women in the working pens! My daddy fought for me to be in the working pens 40 yes ago! An my momma made sure I knew my way around the kitchen. Best of both worlds. Kitchen being second!! Lol

It looked like a fun day of roping and branding. Thanks for the videos it’s fun to watch and amazing to see how easy you make it look. I grew up doing a little roping so I know that it is nowhere as easy as y’all make it seem. God bless.

My hat is off to you and the crew. I hope with what is going on in our country and around the world that the American people and our political leaders get a new understanding and appreciation for what the American farmers and ranchers put into growing their food and fiber. The amount of work, blood sweat and tears as well as the good times, most occupations never see, you see on the farm or ranch. Most people who has a bad day at the office just quit, but quitting isn't an option for us. Plus we try to make a tough dirty job fun.

That back end catch at the 8:07 mark was IMPRESSIVE! What was wrong with that first calf yall roped in the sage brush? You said he needed doctoring. Or were all of them healthy and you were just practicing for the horses and J? I really enjoyed this episode! Thank you!!

Why do I have a feeling that cowboys are smart enough to think of a better way, but just have too much fun roping?
@310RanchLife2 жыл бұрын
There are tons of different schools of thought when I comes to working your calves and each ranch is a bit different. I will say for us roping them is for sure the most fun way!

What kind of saddle do you prefer
@310RanchLife2 жыл бұрын
We prefer a wade saddle. John rides a saddle from Frecker Saddlery and Dalton rides a McCall 👍
