What a great idea to do. You can challenge the family to find things while walking around the park. It not only kills time, but it helps people see how intricate and stunning the theming and design of the parks actually are.

I love that you spoke on the quiet spots for individuals with sensory sensitivities. My kiddo has sensory sensitivities and we are going to WDW in Nov. Would love to see these places in the other parks.

There are bathrooms to the right of the Imagination Pavilion in Epcot that most people miss, so it tends to be quieter over there. Also, Fez House in the Morocco pavilion is usually pretty empty and quiet, as is the back of that pavilion since the restaurant back there is closed and people often don’t realize the pavilion goes that far back.

I remember that time when you DIDNT have to rope drop or pay extra in order to do everything in one day. Those were the days. I remember that time when Sage hid in the caves for nearly 20 mins to hide from Breedlove. Those were the days.

Sage, REALLY appreciated your coverage of the sensory/quiet areas. Great to have the advice from both the perspective of someone just looking to get away from heat/crowds and from someone with different types of sensory issues that require more attention to the details of the environment. Seems like your sister is a lucky person to have you on her side in the parks and in life. Also great highlight of the flag retreat. I know someone who got to take part in that, and it was a very special moment for them and their family.

Whoever came up with the idea of finding quiet places, that was a great idea! Even if you don’t typically have sensory issues, Disney World can be incredibly overwhelming at times. Especially these days when crowds are higher than they have been in years past. Even if you don’t have someone with sensory issues in your party, you probably have an introvert who has been around family nonstop all week and could use a place to recoup some energy.

Another quiet area, as long as the restaurant is closed, is the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. We will sit and have a drink or snack with no one around, or at least minimal noise.

❤To ALL! As a local, who attends parks weekly, I’d love to see AllEars focus on Sun and Heat protection. Hint: Healthy Human Water Bottle Take Me with U Sling has an outside pocket that is perfect for a 6” Mini UV Umbrella!!! Perfect for Sun, Heat, Rain, and hold your water bottle!!! Sling is also washable for those of us who still remember that parks are germ factories! 😂😂😂 Hook your hand sanitizer to the sling! There are a number of attractions that pay homage to older atttaction. Pooh in Disneyland is located in the building that housed the Country Bears Jamboree. During the ride you can look up and see that Melvin, Buff and Max are still there, watching the action. The Imagineers love to do things like that. Early days of EPCOT without Mickey? Don't you believe it. The Imagineers will always find a way.
