@@RoyMathew-ms4wx The answer is we don't know, but if Israel wanted to have a big assault on Gaza there is only so much they could do that would be acceptable to the international community - and more importantly to the US who fund them - without provocation. In these situations a false flag event is used. During the 1967 6 Day War Israeli attacked a US ship (USS Liberty with planes that were not marked as Israeli). This was a false flag event to bring the US into the war on the side of Israel. It didn't go quite to plan , so that never happened. It happens all the time. In the 60s the CIA wanted to shoot down a US plane to give them as excuse to attack Cuba, but Kennedy said no way.
