Completely hear you on productive procrastination. Important reminder. People can stand in their own way for more reasons than "not really wanting the thing". There are a lot of things I want and am working towards. I stumble, not because I don't really want them but because trauma has made my brain a hostile place. A mind turned on itself. I'm still working towards my dreams. Just reminding the world that stumbling is not always about a lack of desire. Your mental health matters. Be kind to yourself and find the ways that work for you to "do the thing." Much Love and Light

Watched the video, set up my Freedom session to block out distractions, opened a text editor and started writing. Thanks for keeping the video short (so I am not tempted by productive procrastination). You're the best Cole

Cole, I really like this kind of content. People need self-awareness. People need a right mindset to start writing and to start building things. They have so many faulty beliefs that hinder them to start working. So I really appreciate such kind of videos, keep going. Btw, 1-3-1

That is great and true......... I need to isolate myself for writing and animation. Thats is the way I get productive. We build so many distractors into "Smart" phones I only use my phone sparingly and for business.

Ouch - that hit hard, but in a good way. My issue is a want too many things at once and whilst I have successful achieved (and obtained) many of the things I want in life; I need to take your advice and narrow down my focus and invest my thoughts and actions in the one or two projects. Thank you for the reminder to do less, better.

We all want the benefits... nobody wants to manage the responsability. Dho!!! ❤ 🎉 ❤ 🎉 ❤ 🎉 ❤ 🎉 ❤ 🎉 ❤ 🎉 Thank you for busting our chops in the best way: as honestly and forthrightly as possible. "It takes more work than most of us tell ourselves." Ok. I'm heading off to do the thing(s) now. Thank you! I needed this level of maturity. Because it's not about motivation. No motivational speaker can do the work for us. It's our work. But they sure will try to squeeze out our expense budget to tell us exactly that, eventually. And who can blame them? That's their work. More power to us all. Cheers to your success!

Just a thought...but when starting a new adventure, building a new skill...keep your vision small to start. Find out if you want It. Get feedback and carefully think about It. It...takes twice as long, costs twice a much (even for Unicorns!).

I think this often means that the thing is not right for you and you should pick another thing. I used to say I was gonna make content aboht comedy writinf and funny coouwriting but it just didn't excite me enough. Last year I realized I wanted something completely different, and this year I started making content as a friendship coach for men. I'm doing the thing, and it's completely different from the thing I thought I wanted. Figure out what the thing should be for you. What do you REALLY want? What gives you purpose? What truly stimulates you?
