i’m pretty confident the Rhys we see is a figment of joes imagination. if you think about it we have never seen him talk or interact with any of the other people in the group. he also thinks like joe in a lot of ways, and joe has conveniently blacked out during all the murders. i think he tricked himself into believing he didn’t kill marienne but actually did, and that guilt is manifesting as a second person. he’s an unreliable narrator, paranoid, and most likely hallucinating.

I really want Love back, but I don‘t think she‘s alive. It would be THE major plot twist so they would never give it away and put her in the teaser. But I‘m glad that she‘s will be back for at least one scene. So season 4… It‘s not my cup of tea. It feels like a different show and I think the new characters are just not likeable. I don’t care about Kate and the others. So i don’t care if they get murdered or not. Idk.

the whole point of the new cast is to be unlikeable; they're the snobby elite who only ever care for themselves and are too coked up to show any empathy for others and their so-called "friends." whether some characters were redeemed in joe's eyes, such as kate, they're all still insanely rich people who lived spoiled lives and are written to be unliked.

For some stupid reason I still think she is alive. That's cause she looked so much like Joe, she was smart like him then sometimes I just think "no way that she died just like that" just... dumb. I really hope Love is still alive because if we are being honest, Love's character would be smart enough to take the same thing Joe took to NOT get paralyzed. I know she is most likely dead which then would be bad writing for her character, but Love being the one to take out Joe at the end of it all would, to me at least, be the best ending. That could also lead up to a Season 5 where Love is the lead instead of Joe and then taken out by Ellie, or just her getting away with all of it.

I’m guessing Rhys is Joe’s brother, with the tease at the end of the third season and how he was raised by a single mom. The plot would be quite reminiscent of season 1 of Dexter, with a killer reveal twist and how the killer is the protagonist’s brother on top of that.

@@mooma0912 The tease of Joe’s brother at the end of the last season showed his brother leaving with his mom, and at the start of this season Rhys said he was raised by a single mom. Rhys and Joe got along very well at the party, they both have a twisted side and similar characteristics. There must be a reason why they teased his brother last season, and this is the only place that it fits, taking inspiration from Dexter season 1 too. There’s too many things lining up to be honest. And as Joe’s student said, “there are never coincidences.”

Are you sure that he's not obsessed and he's not the killer and the Rhys we see interact with him is real and not Joe mentally spiraling and doing the murders? Joe moved right across Katie to watch her, works in her uni with a fake id to be close to her, entered his way into her best friend group and killed her bf, his direct antagonist according to his skewed moral compass. He also killed her body guard who he cornered and was suspicious of him and he killed everyone that was frustrating and incovenceing either katie or Joe. Joe is same old psycho and deranged and obsessive serial killer Joe that kills for himself and his love interests. And mark my words Marienne is dead as well and never made it out of that building and him watching her board on that train station is his wishful thinking and hallucinations.

i think it was him the whole time, he is just imagining rhys and slowly freaks out, splits off his 'old' obscessive personality and sees it as a different person and no longer as a part of himself, with which he justifies the murders and is sort of hiding from himself that he's still the same, with his new focus on kate, so he kills people who 'threaten' them, like he did with love and beck. also (fun fact) rhys (the name) means passion, which sort of explains the murders out of passion, the same motive joe always has for his killings

I watched YOU again for the 2nd time just to observe who Rhys is, and yeah, I think Rhys is just hallucination of Jonathan as well as Elliot. Kate's actually the one who killed Malcom and tries to setup Jonathan but was surprised that Jonathan hid the body, from there, Kate knew who Jonathan really is, and started using him to kill her friends.

I think Kate and Marienne are working together to get Joe. Did anyone else notice that knife belongs to Marienne. When Joe let’s her go, she picks up the knife. It’s not a coincidence that Kate works has to do with art and marienne is an artist! Kate is always talking on the phone to manipulate Joe into thinking she is not the killer, and one time when Joe was stalking her you can see, she pretends to not see him but her eyes can show that she did and she was pretending! She opens her curtains so Joe can watch her! Rhys is just a figment of Joe’s own imagination. When Joe was chained up, Rhys convinced Joe to kill Roald saying he can’t hear them cause he took a loot of drugs but when Roald was trying to tell the others but Joes you could tell he was the only one who didn’t drink and take any drugs ! Joe killed Malcom because, he found out about his past! Malcom had dirt on everyone so I believe when he took Joe back to his apartment after a drunk night he asked him about his past and he knew Joe was stalking them when he mentioned about the window and not to watch them, He gave Joe drugs to get him drunk and try to get some information from him, I think that’s why Joe killed him. I think Nadia is also working on something on Joe , the lady photographer, the assassin! This show better end with Joe going to prison or some mental hospital! I feel like this season was good but I feel like Joe falling for Kate was a little bit rushed cause we didn’t see the build up and Kate just gives up killer vines which would have made Joe run from the beginning, like the window thing she didn’t try to close them and Joe likes the broken ones or the helpless ones, I didn’t see that in Kate. But nonetheless it’s was good, can’t wait for March!

​@@TheJoker-bz3mshe was never actually knocked out by the gun wound. He doesn't have a wound on his face or forehead when he wakes up, watch closely. He researched the castle before going on that trip and knew about the dungeons. Everything else is Joe blacking out and doing the monstrous and calculated things he always does. We are disoriented like him cause we see the shoe through his own eyes and mind and denial about who he really is. He's not a trustworthy narrator after all and he's proven that numerous times. At the end of the day Joe is a psychotic and psychopathic serial killer. He is the monster of his own story and this season was his inner battle of trying to prove he's not but his uncontrollable instincts and mentally deranged mind never stopped existing. Think about it. Also by chaining himself and starting the fire and then saving Rold from all that it's the perfect allibi and at the same time he proves yo be the hero he supposedly craves.

Rhys hasn't interacted with anyone other than Joe throughout the whole 5 episods. I haven't seen anyone else talk about this, it's certainly suspect since he always is just in the background or appears next to Joe. The only outlyer is the eulogy. But that is likely Joe just seeing Rhys, when in reality it's someone else. Joe is the killer having some kind of mental breakdown. That's the twist for part 2.

I think we all know what Sera Gamble said in that interview about Love being actually dead. It is likely that split second scene of Love in the trailer 5:18 is a hallucination. But what if Love actually does make a return? Fans including myself have made a big stink about her death ever since Season 3 dropped. It would be one of the most cinematic returns in Netflix history if Love actually came back IMO. Perhaps they will listen to us after all. Maybe they sat around a table one day and said "what the hell, let's bring Love back!" ...but I'm not holding my breath! 3:10 , 4:12 I think its definitely a box for holding the victims - as my first thought about the structure behind Phoebe was that it looked exactly like the box!

Katie is gonna be his downfall, otherwise he'll continue to survive and be a serial killer. It's all Joe guys. He's the Rhys that he imagines does the rich people killing. He's mentally spiraling. Katie is the only one with the intellect and resources to actually figure him out and take him down at this point. Although I'm concerned that the one he's burrying in the ground is either Katie, the real Rhys who he obviously kidnapped and it's his feet we see cuffed in the trailer (the pants and white t shirt match the scene were Rhys opens the door in his house) and maybe even Phoebe.

What I love here is that he FINALLY has started to change. That he's not the same sicko from before. That his experiences in season 2 & 3 has changed him. Forcing him to understand what Candace has been telling him all this time. But also changing himself for the better to save someone he genuinely seems to love. Edit Fuck no! We need him to live. And caught? Ehhhhhh I mean that's one option. But what will that actually accomplish at this point? It's better for him to stop psychos like this guy. Or help out people who need the help. Joe isn't different than Rhys by that logic, Rhys is killing people who actually hurt society with thier wealth. The sociopath kills worse sociopaths thing is boring and also undermines .... the premise if the show. Joe isn't a white knight. Making him become one in your eyes isn't character growth, it's just taking the original conceit of the series and completely draining it of any intellectual integrity or insight. Joe isn't suddenly a decent person for not killing Marianne, or not immediately stalking a woman who he develops feelings for. That would kinds ruin the show. It would basically make a farce of the premise, and pretty much validates Joe's self delusional view of himself.

But then the Punisher and pretty much every other character that goes after a criminal and gives them a taste of their own medicine would be the same thing according to yours. So then what would be the point of any of these characters according to you? And far from it! His delusional view is that he's some Casanova and has done no wrong. Admitting he was wrong, but also understanding that he's fundamentally broken gives hope he could be a better person. And that he can turn his shattered self into a person who may not be fully good, but isn't fully evil either, is way better. Him going to prison or dying is beyond boring. There wouldn't be a point anymore. I'd much rather see him righting wrongs. And he and Rhys are no where near the same. Rhys takes genuine pleasure in killing. Killing the rich is just an excuse he uses. But he even told Joe that his "dick would be hard" at killing the body guard. That's true insanity right there. Joe finally admitted at the end of season 2 that what he did was wrong. And he would have allowed himself to be taken in. If Love hadn't complicated things and murdered Candace. That's a gigantic difference between him and Rhys. If he had been taken in at season 2 it would have made more sense. But then how would the show have gone on? It simply wouldn't have, unless you wanted to see him aid investigators in hunting down other serials. But that is also a trope that's been done already. Maybe it would work for him and maybe it wouldn't have. Either way I want to see him be redeemed.

I do want to know how Kate found Joe & Roald so fast (Maybe it’s just one of those moments in the show where she found them by coincidence or it did take a while for her to get to them, but they didn’t show it….or maybe I just missed something lol)? I wouldn’t be surprised if Rhys & Kate are working together. I’m honestly trying to figure out Nadia’s purpose (what was written in that note?) & what really happened to Marriene🤔🧐💭 Lady Phoebe…I always go back & forth with her character, but she does seem *a little* clueless. but I never underestimate people like that either. I absolutely love all of twists and turns this season! It really is a huge mystery!

Kate quickly finding Joe and Roald isn’t incriminating on its own. Smoke was coming into the house so it was probably easy for her to track. Overall, I’m sure Kate’s hiding something but I doubt she’s a psycho killer. It would be pretty redundant for Joe to entangle himself with another crazy girl when we already got Love for two seasons.

I don’t think Rhys is a figment of joes imagination, but I do think he will start hallucinating things. I think Nadia or whatever is very suspicious and will have a role to play as well as that weird paparazzi woman we saw. I think Rhys isn’t working alone, he truly believes in killing the rich and stuff but I think someone else is in charge, Rhys is only like a dog that works for its owner.

I feel like we will get a major plot twist at the end. I‘m still thinking about the show and why the writers would choose to do all this stuff. Could it be possible that Joe is still paralysed and Love is putting him under drugs and that the entire season 4 is just Joe‘s dream or imagination? Maybe it‘s a huge reach but him being a literature professor?! Building up a life and new Identity that fast? In London?! The book „A good Man in a cruel world“?? It‘s how he sees himself. Maybe he read the book while being in the cage and now dreams about him being in the Book. Or he is Rhys. I don‘t know. So many characters remind me of Benji and Peach and we know he killed and hated them. It would explain, why the show does feel like an other show and it would be an insane plot twist.
