It's possible that the first short G chord Malcolm plays on the main riff has the A string blocked as well. More videos: Solo tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/bInRhJisr8t4odk 2:06 excerpt taken from kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYTRhoCgir6Yo7c

People think this song is simple. It is with the cord structure. The difficult part is playing dynamics. If you have ever been in a school orchestra or marching band you know what I'm talking about. This is rarely if not ever talked about on KZbin, and it's more important than the notes themselves. If all you do is play hard and loud, on a song like you shook me, your blowing it big time. The opening should be played with finesse and feeling at a medium soft volume. If you read sheet music and most guitarist can't. All these little nuances are written in with the notes. On every song ever written, it's all there. If you can't read it you need to put on some really good studio quality headphones and pay attention. Sorry, didn't mean to go off here. I just found this channel by accident. When the instructor started talking about how the opening should be played reminded me of band class in middle and high school where these accents ie dynamics of playing notes was pounded into our heads. That is what separates a professional player from a player. This is what wins band competitions. It's what wins battle of the bands.

Let's get Andre' more money on his patron page. It is very reasonable, I give him the most, $5. He has been around for years, look on daily motion site for some of his old lessons. He is truly amazing. He had to take a part-time job. We need him around teaching us music for ever.

Could you make a video about the AC / DC sound, I mean how to get it in an uncomplicated and affordable way, also divided into Angus and Malcolm?

Malcolm: Gretsch duo jet, 12s with a wound g, J Rocket 45. Angus: SG, slinky 9s and a JRockett 45. Easy.

I absolutely love the way you've broken this down. This is the closest I've heard to the way Angus and Malcolm play this song. There are so many tutorials out there which are incorrect. I agree that it's the little things that they do which create the AC/DC magic. I'm more of a rhythm guitar player, so I really like to emulate some of the things that Malcolm did. I play a lot of AC/DC, but this one just didn't sound quite right when I played it. Now I know. Thanks for the tutorial.

Yes, very cool. Somehow I managed to find out how Angus plays his intro part, but Malcolms intro part was a total surprise for me. But it totally makes sense, i had to take away a few decibels on the Malcolm intro part on my last cover attempt since it was too dominant and overpowering Angus' part. Well, this shows one more time that it's actually NOT easy to play AC/DC.

Could the sound of the "B" you are hearing in the main verse riff just be the bass guitar?
@KozumaHeijiАй бұрын
@@themasterbeaty3916 I don't think so, the bass only comes in just before the chorus and then into the second verse. It's just guitars and drums for most of the first verse
@michaelh.1712 Жыл бұрын
Is the G chord after the C chord without the B note on the second string ? On the video with Angus it looks like with the B note.
@KozumaHeiji11 ай бұрын
