Many of them fall in love with Prime's amenities. They spend more time in Springfield than running the road.

Yup would see the same people all time the few occasions I went to the terminal. I stayed on the road running, only really coming back for pm’s etc. Left after a year. It’s part of the scam to keep you reeled in, nice trucks, terminal etc😂 a lot fall for it. Met many multi year drivers there😂

@winstonrhock9021 You can barely get in the terminal on the weekends. Drivers meeting up to stay in hotels, drink, and party. They give the money they were paid back to the person who paid them. I hated having to go to Springfield. Somehow, some way, they found a way to keep you there for at least two days. It was damn near impossible to get a decent load out of there. They always wanted me to take the loads on the yard. Which is all the crap the party people used to get to Springfield. It didn't pay much. Whenever I needed to go to a terminal, I had them send me to Pittston. I didn't have to worry about the terminal superstars there. I left Prime after two years, and I still hear and see evidence of the debauchery that takes place in Springfield amongst the people in the offices and the drivers. Drama, for sure.

I started out at Prime in July 2019. Spent 6 months with my trainer because I didn't want to do my first winter solo. (He must've liked my work ethic, because he didn't kick me off and get another trainee when I had my hours in.) Took a single sleeper Freightliner in March 2020, and did the next year solo company. Might have gone home twice, because I wanted to make money. Got an offer to follow my DM when he went to Lease Division, so I took a short-term lease on my solo truck, just to see if I could make it. Made about 50K on that lease, and I left the road in December 2021, because I didn't have to be Freidrich Hayek to know what would happen when 6 trillion in fiat currency got dropped into a dead economy. Since my only indulgences were firearms, ammo, and sterling silver rings, I left with enough savings to spend the time looking for a job I actually wanted to do. I did all right at Prime, but I bounced when I saw what was coming. If I decided to go back behind the wheel, I'd probably go back to Prime...for a while. But that's me. Results May Vary.

If it wasn’t real content it wouldn’t get the views it gets. I understand and respect you been there done that but don’t be the pot calling the kettle black.
