Between this series and Burning Rangers on the Saturn, it seems that there was an attempt to create a firefighting genre of games back in the 90's...only to have such aspirations...extinguished

There is Firefighter F.D.18 on the PS2 that I've been meaning to check out, so maybe the torch remains lit?

Or at least I though so. Then some Detective guy with a French accent put all my family together and started explaining what had happened and how I was the murderer. Kinda like a 16-bit version of Rosco McQueen Firefighter Extreme on PS1, I'll have to check this out and revisit that sometime soon. Just found your channel, glad I got some decent content to binge this weekend lol

Do it! The sequel has a coop mode, but it kinda failed because it was more of the same on newer hardware. I need to check that out myself.

Thanx to my modded PSP I've played Firemen 1 and 2. Fun games, shame they didn't hit US shores

It is, but it's really nice to live in an era where you're able to easily play some of these overseas gems. Always happy to discover things like this!

The only other fireman game I can think of is Rosco Mcqueen for the first playstation. It was not as good as this, but I enjoyed its silliness.
