Im not super sure about not using WASD for FPS games, but i did change my binds in arma to be: QA WS ED RF for helicopters, that way i alwayas have a finger dedicated to roll, pitch, yaw, and thrust

@@outfitplays for me it works well, but i think people can get used to any control scheme and have it "work well". The main problem i noticed that i wanted to fix was: if you try to pull up (s, midddle finger) and roll right (d, index finger), that works fine, but if you want to also yaw right (e), then you have to move your ring finger onto s, then your middle finger on to e. and this isn't even including the collective (think basically whether you go up or down), so that adds an extra complication. also one more pragmatic thing: i've gotten used to using my thumb for more stuff than just just space bar. I find that it can naturally press X C and V easily enough, so you can add a few extra important controlls to those keys and have your thumb press them while your fingers can tell with some of the number keys and stuff your thumb can't reach.

Hey man what's up please respond!iam using wasq but in the middle of the keyboard like you. It's been a week and I have gotten a sense of my movement and don't mess up but the problem is the buttons are harder to press as the ring finger is the weakest finger and sometimes I know what I have to press but I can't do it fast enough, does this come with time or not cause some guy said it's genetically predisposed top play wasq

I unfortunately have changed my binds back cause I had no time to learn, I think it is something that comes with time, you can always try to change it.
