I’m just a normal guy from Atlantic Canada who stumbled upon R1ps on KZbin for one simple reason, I love MK (the algorithm worked). And I have to admit, I watch live on twitch when able because it is truly a different experience. Besides the lore of MK, the joy I felt from playing MK from a young age has always captivated me, but I was never capable of being the player I have the privilege of witnessing here on a daily basis. It’s such a pleasure and gift to watch. This community is amazing and so damn entertaining! Lol both games have their merits but I agree that MK11 is not as fun to watch. Feels like everyone uses the same two kombos into KBs and the colours really do not help. 😅

Arena always clutching out with fun games saving mk1 from oblivion. Match2: Priduz played this like a beast his reads where insane. Omegak always impresses us with his loadout. The match had it all from pixel comebacks back to back to double flawless, hard reads and great stuff overall. Match3: Not like this Fabbz :'(. Roethor really did a number on that Kenshi, cant wait for Fabbz to use this and downplay kenshi more XD. Just jk love ya Fabbz better luck next time. Match4: Well its a casual baraka match for the most time, poorguy has his momments but you know what to expect. Match5: we dont get the whole thing but its funny as hell to see reiko get ddt'ed by Shujinko. Blackout gives it his best but shujinko hard counters him apparently. Its a funny match if anything and we get to see some new stuff.

I feel like the game need a bit of more balance tho when it comes to damage its sad to see for example super talented players like Priduz subzero get totally outplayed by omega general shao just because of the unbalanced damage in the game if he would’ve been playing a higher damage character like Melenna he would’ve been roasted 4 times without any doubts! I mean, Sub beats Shao, true, but Priduz played pretty well for the most part. Just went in some times that he shouldn't have and would have probably had more luck using Sonya for the safe mix than Khameleon since Shao doesn't have an armored launcher.

@@oldmanfgc no sonya is a horrible choice against shao with subzero because sub needs to get close to shao, which is hard to do because shao outranges subzero and his garbage normals. to counteract shao's range and good normals khameleon or kunglao is a better choice. its just that priduz is garbage.

The answer to balance isn't giving every character more damage. Sub currently has great tools with the right kameo pairing. You're just not seeing them used much in streams because he's not as popular a character.
