After you send us your application, we will begin by pre-screening it and your application will be reviewed by the recruiter and the hiring manager - in most cases the person who would be your direct manager in the new job. In this video, we will show you what else happens after you've applied.

@Roche Is it possible to connect with the hiring manager if we get rejected to understand why I was rejected? I have applied for around 30 openings till now ( and will keep on applying until I get into my dream job 👍) but have been rejected continuously. I don't get any details on why I have been rejected. I was wondering what could be the reasons. If you can help me understand what I need to improve I could work on that area and make myself more eligible for the position. It has been a dream to join Roche family and I will keep working on it.

Those companies receive hundreds if not thousands of applications for each position. Chances are that an automated system rejects you, not even a person. Also if you are not allowed to work at the place of interest, that will further decrease your chances. Even if you make it through the automated screening, chances are that amongst those thousands of applicants, one was simply better suited than you were. Sucks but yeah, those jobs are very competitive.
