the difference in complexity between basement and bar/games is crazy. I can see why basement isn't as fun in a competitive environment

basement is also technically the weakest site, if attackers get main breech its actually hard to defend because theres just a bunch of cutoff spots that attackers can hold, and they can rappel on that breech. a wine take is also extremely strong because you only have like 1 doorway and stairway to watch while hardbreech gets trench or wine wall, literally you just have someone watch stairs and doorway from that basement door while a hardbreech pushes up from back garage and does wine wall or runs in to do trench, its also a great take to bring nomad on because you only have to airjab a couple spots.

Dude, even if this doesn't get executed 100% as I am a solo player, you've still given me a lot of inspiration of where to hold and sneaky angels. I'm rounding off just under 300 hours in this game now and feel comfortable with most horizontal angels, gunplay and gameplay. I've just started with doing vertical angels and at my rank and lower mmr, people have NO idea about vertical angels and it's quite fun xD Also, in lower mmr, basement is very boring... 29 out of 30 times, 3-5 players on the attacker side will attack from garage main breach

For the basement sight I run a castle strat and curious pole take on it. So I castle trench door, just t take up a little time. But then I open dining hatch. I then castle off the dining door leading into fireplace hallway, trophy window, and kitchen door near trophy. I then shotgun two wholes crouch height to the right of the brown dividing line in kitchen wall. This was I can contest ppl in west main from behind the kitchen counter. I can normally hold that area by myself with this set up, denying west main and trench breach. If the enemy rotates through main late round then I can shot gun wholes into the main wall and contest main as well. Same with blue but to a lesser extent. I do this at diamond to champ elo on console, but know it’s a different game on pc.

Personal tip, use his drones as a ranged breaching charges. He is the only operator with soft destruction that doesn’t require a line of sight.

I'm on Flores basically to destroy shields on site. It's basically a huge bonus if they stack ads or more gadgets nearby destroying target. Other than that, i always push defenders away from their spots especially when they're holding an angle on you, also can get intel at the same time while droning otw to whatever you're trying to hit. The drone is fragile, but overtime you'll get used to it on how to ninja your way in 😂

quick thing i found out on chalet (don't know if thats any helpful or known yet) but if you have your shadow settings to high and above you can just set a drone in fireplace and see the shadows from the people walking along mesa trough the mesa floor i dont know if thats intended but this way you can safely park your drone in fireplace and still see shadows trough the floor (shadows appear because of the fire in the fireplace area; thats probably fucking up the shadows or some reflections axis of the shadows on the breakpoint of the mesa floor and the bar wall)

i also remember some teams putting the shield on the table in wine facing that doorway which isnt amazing but you can put holes underneath the table and watch that doorway from there., its just a preference thing, if we had a mira then i would put the rotate where you said.

How do you defend blue hallway ? (Basement site). I just put a shield and ask for a Jager to protect me from grenades or to save the shield. I usually use a smoke on this part.

Melusi's gadget on 90 or put evil eye there. Smoke is too precious to not being in site as his denial gas is still op to put attackers off site. But any operator is fine to hold blue tbh
