This fine song popped up in my list. I have played this song so many times in my life. Carole didn't write the words but the music. Another person writes her lyrics same as with Elton John. She's got beautiful voice and plenty of possibilities, but she's not letting herself be the one that sings, she's trying to sound like someone else she believes in her mind that surely is better than her. I hope she reaches the freedom to feel and sing naturally with her own natural proposition to develop mastery of herself. And then offer the world the best of herself.

I couldn't disagree more. Her covers, (including this one) are superb!!!!!! This post is from 2016, and she has only gotten better and better over the years. Check out some of her recent original songs, like "Made To Last" and "Monroe." Also, her cover of "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys is beautiful!
