Superb rendition! I wondered wether you would help me with the chord shapes you are using? All the lessons I can find for this song seem to use basic instead of barre chord shapes. Do you have tabs by any chance or do you just improvise? Thanks for sharing and merry christmas :)

Thank you! Yeah I’m happy to help.. this tab I just found seems pretty close to what I’m playing tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/carole-king/youve-got-a-friend-chords-463673 It has a capo on 2nd, but if you transpose it up a whole steps and use barre chords it will be similar to what I’m playing. I’m improvising all the little notes in between chords I’m happy to answer more questions and provide more info, but try looking at the tab and watching my hands. It’s a great way to learn!
