People really underestimate the beauty industry. Doing makeup and cutting hair is mentally, physically and emotionally demanding. You’re on your feet, running around all day long, you might get 20 mins to eat and sit all day and you’re giving all your mental and emotion energy to others all day as well. But it’s also incredibly rewarding!

I realize I’m super late watching this Q&A but I can’t help but comment on the fact that your appreciation of older movies/films is so refreshing, I’m nearly 40 but I am all about some Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd! And having older parents, compared to most my age, is the reason I will always love watching Old Humphrey Bogart films so hearing you mention that made my heart feel warm and fuzzy! I completely agree Nikki. Being a makeup artist is an incredibly gruelling and incredibly exhausting career. It’s SO difficult to do it with young kids too. No one ever sees that side of it but I couldn’t agree more.

I came across your channel just a few months ago. I am 71 yrs old, lovingly embrace my styled, curly white hair. I find that my white hair needs a bit more color on my face to complete the look.
