Yeah it sounds insane. No mods and stock exhaust. I’m planning on getting the Brabus Chip upgrade next spring. Go for it!

It actually sounds this good from the outside without any modifications. Make sure to drive with the sunroof open.

ich hab den probegefahren in stuttgart der sound war nicht so krass. ich konnte leider nur 30min fahren und ihn somit nicht richtig heiß einfahren. welcher baujahr ist das modell ? weißt du zufällig ob es da sound unterschiede gibt zwischen 2019 modell und 2020 oder allgemein. gruß

Both are very different value proposals, but I'd say sound wise the A35 is louder, pops and bangs much more and does so more aggressively as well. Much like the GLB 35, which doesn't bang at all. If you can, test drive both of them in sport + after warming up.

Not sure. I record sound directly at the rear bumber, but I can hear most of that as well when driving with the glass roof opened. It is however wild that they pump in fake sound when the exhaust sounds really good - especially for such a modern car.

I would think so, yet I don't know for certain. I've heard the new facelifted A35 and that is significantly less "rowdy" when driving - so overall less loud and less pops & bangs. It does however pop & bang while standing still, which mine doesn't do. I would presume that the new 45 series vehicles are also less loud then the previous gen.

Someone should probably throw in a crossplane crankshaft into these engines. Otherwise I have my doubts the community will accept this. A 2.5l five cylinder would be an even better solution.

@@babyamgit’s probably the first gen, I own a second gen 45 (M139) and the pops are exactly like this or actually even less. Maybe a little more deeper that’s all.
