Bass players can only count to four. (some can actually count to five)
@dontcareisaiditСағат бұрын
@@spoddie what does five mean?
@spoddie42 минут бұрын
@@dontcareisaidit To be honest, I don't really understand it. Some theoretical bassists claim that five exists beyond four but I guess you can claim anything if no one can prove it.

i bought an mxr flanger back in 1975. when i hooked it up to a bass at the guitar shop, they looked at me funny and said that it was for guitar. I bought it and used it with my Jazz bass for years. Always loved the effect. so for the first time ever, I did something on bass before Davie.

About the delay effect: Paul Gilbert has an amazing song called "The echo song" that uses it and it's amazing. It would sound better on a bass played by Davie though.

I’ve done the bell and behind the nut with my guitar but will definitely try them out on my bass, those sounded really cool but I have used flanger a lot on my bass. Definitely perfect for playing Forty Six and 2 by Tool, which is why I started using my guitar flanger pedal on bass (which has a bass output, so it’s all good)

Unfortunately no. That was a mix of a real bell and Lars hitting an anvil with Cliff's legendary hammer. Cliff always carried a hammer with him - I think it's the very hammer on the Kill Em All cover. I think when they played in Finland, a brawl broke out between the crew and some of the crowd, Cliff and his hammer calmed them down real quick. At the airport security in France, the guards asked why he carried a hammer in his suitcase, Cliff said "Well, you never know when you're gonna need one."

What can I say? I’m pretty new on KZbin as a content creator, and I eagerly watch videos like yours with full interest to learn quickly. I want to make it clear that I’m not doing this for the money but out of genuine passion-discovering this world has been amazing for me. I just wanted to know if it’s normal that in some of my videos there’s a ghosting effect. I can’t quite explain it, but around two-thirds into some videos, there seem to be overlapping images. The strange thing is that it doesn’t always happen at the same point with the same video. It’s pretty annoying and unsettling, and I’m asking if anyone reading this has experienced the same thing? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks for any advice. In the meantime, for this video, I’m stealing your audio-video technique, which looks super professional-maybe it’ll help me get rid of the ghost? Calling the Ghostbusters!
