This has been something I've really been wanting to do since my buddy Derek showed me some pieces of this incredible calcite he found a couple of years ago. These are fossil coral heads that have been replaced with beautiful pointy calcite crystals! It was a fun adventure searching for these treasures for two warm 80 degree January days here in Florida. Hope y'all enjoy the video!

Kyle, I am an elderly disabled woman who absolutely loves all crystals, rocks/minerals and fossils. I am no longer able to go rock hounding because of my disabilities. So, now I watch videos and I especially love your channel. I watch all of your videos and wish I could get out there. But, it is what it is. So thank you for allowing me to live through your enthusiasm for the love of nature and the wonderful creations this earth holds for us to find. I dont have any coral or calcite and wonder if it is possible to purchase a small one from you. If so how? Thank you for your time and keep on finding awesomeness!

Thank you so much for sharing your travels and excitement - it's helpful on bad days of isolation here.

I'm wondering something... I have a shark tooth that I bought a long time ago at some fair, but forgot to ask what kind it was... it's curved, very sharp and it has to small teeth on either side, pointing outwards from the main tooth. the main tooth isn't much longer than a thumb's nail, maybe 2 cm... is it possible to identify it from just that...?

@WILDKYLE Calcite was the top final layer that was on the Pyramids in Egypt. However is was removed by the Romans and used to build castles and Bacillicas around europe. Calcite has magnetic qualities and and concentrates light if shaped and polished correctly.
