As someone who mains Ling (and doesn’t spam), I’m surprised I didn’t see any of the combos I usually use in this video, granted I also don’t think I’ve seen many people, if anyone in game use them as well. One of my favorite combos is: 1st basic hit with crit, walk backwards for as small a time as possible, then a jump kick into either basic, forward, or his default shadow move based on distance, timing, and shadow energy. I like this combo because if done right, it fully resets his slashing strike, and as far as I’m aware the only way to avoid it is to roll forward, which will prevent a forced get up after the jump kick, ending the combo, but people very rarely do that in my experience. Easily the hardest part of this combo is how much to walk backwards after the first hit, it’s necessary because without it they won’t get up after the jump kick, but if you wait slightly too long they have time to fully react
