I happen to keep and breed a lot of the species shown in this ep. like Ackie monitors, green keeled lizards, Chameleon geckos, Yucatan Spiny Tailed Iguanas and a few more and I almost exclusively use Zilla products and now it makes sense why some of this stuff works so well with the species I keep and it's cool to see how its done. Im excited for those waterfalls too!

The problem I've had with thermostats like iPower and Hygrotherm has been that it has a 5 degree variance. I'm very excited to see one with a smaller temperature variance!
@bastianoiry-codello32924 жыл бұрын
If you're looking for precise control, you should look at the Inkbird thermostats. You can adjust the range from 0.1 degrees.

With all of the wild fires in Australia there most likely will be some species that were wiped out. I hate that the human population has gone through such trauma but ultimately it is the animals that have really been impacted. I really enjoy the Zilla lab tours. They are doing awesome stuff there. Thanks for sharing that with us Dav.

Love the humid hide function design! Well done. I struggle with the aesthetics honestly. But Im picky/snobby lol. If I were giving genuine feedback I’d say I prefer irregularly shaped rock as most aren’t nicely rounded in the wild. And the fake moss is too cleanly spaced. They look too “created.” I should say Its not like I have the skills to do it so I give respect to yall! However, like I said the functionality design is wonderful! How will the new thermostat compare price wise with the inkbirds? Cheers!
@rickh37144 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Perhaps an additional moss adhesion kit for those herpers less into the 'Hobbiton' look that admittedly some amateur herpers like. One or two of those moss areas filled up would randomize it more. One of the slatelike fixtures looked OK. The others are too 'Hobbity' for me.

I quite like the look of those waterfalls, had a zoo med waterfall i loved the look of, but seemed to leak alot, but these look similar to the exo terra waterfall i have at least in construction. It would be interesting if those waterfalls had some method of being linked into a run together giving more water, or having some additional accessory like a large water basin it could empty into or runs that could be ran around a larger enclosure to bulk out length of it. Love the idea an style of the heat emitter with using color changing to denote if it is on or off, which is smart. I have a 48 by 24 by 24 enclosure from Kages, and think i might look into getting these to either help heat it or heat it at night, though again would need to look into how mount some of these in/on the cage. Do they have a mesh cover that could be put on to protect your lizards if you were looking to use it in a enclosure without a mesh top?

Very cool video Zilla is a smart Company i love the products and for over 20 years i ran a pretty large Construction Cpmpany did built and installed Custom Woodworking the best part about that. Job was everyday it was something different to learn and that working with many EWmployees each day i learned that because everyone had slightly different perspectives that you could really improve ideas ,policies , and products to better suit everyone a couple of minor ideas for the Zilla products those rocks should have some type of a handle on them that allows the lid to be lifted off with a Snake hook and the heaters should have a Small spot on them to indicate the cold color of the bulb for contrast especially because Many reptile owners are Male and typically Men in general have some type of color blindness , Self included) BTW My thoughts or comments are bot to be considered negative comments by any means only my thoughts the Animals shown are Very Cool and my main reason for watching these types of Videos is to Educate myself more to overcome my lifelong fear of Snakes in general and i used to live in Florida often spending a lot of time outdoors and away from civilizations
