See, the trick is, you need to use a Tritanopia shader so that lapis and diamond look identical, and be near lava. That way, when you get excited from finally finding the green ore, only to discover it's lapis and not diamond, you can dive straight into lava to end your suffering. Also works for iron and gold, because iron and gold are both pink. The difference is, gold is a slightly tanner pink, but you won't notice unless you stare at it for 5 minutes!
