Joe and Jill Spiker are stepping away from promoting. Leaving Lincoln Park and Terre Haute without a promoter. I want to thank Joe for changing my home track from being nicknamed "Rutnamville" back to what it was in its glory days. He saved many tracks around the state through his efforts and I greatly appreciate it. Best of luck Joe and Jill and everyone else who was a part of JS promotions.

I agree completely there should be no features more than 40 laps. Turkey night Grand Prix is 98 laps and 3out of the last 4 years took rubber around lap 40 and the race was over! I will not be attending any events with features more than 40 laps!
@todddennett9569Күн бұрын
@@billmcmillan7735 the Hangtown 100 is 100 laps in Placerville and it has never taken rubber so you can attend that one

Not sure how Eliason keeps getting rides.
@mariebeasley1269Күн бұрын
Eliason is a good driver. Like anybody you need a good team to put a good car under the butt. Rudeen failed Cory and last year they failed Wise. Whatever the reason he keeps getting rides,we need drivers like Cory and especially Hunter to fill the cars to make car counts. I wish him the best.

Justin, since you mentioned that team was starting in the deep south! What about Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala or Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, Florida, they have some sprint car races on their early schedules for 2025?

Kaleb Montgomery in a top ride like the Tarlton 21 would be badass fast. Nobody talks about this guy enough and hes as good if not potentially better than most drivers out here in California. He works hard hes got character and he has made moves on the track to pass guys with better equipment than him. Fast time at Tulare with the Outlaws in his own car. I was there and I 100% believe this young man would be a top notch sprint car driver in top notch equipment. Ive only met him once so I cant say I know him but he was fan friendly and took the time to say hi after the races at Placerville as he was changing his own motor with his dad. I saw him run right with Cole Macedo, Justin Sanders, Dominc Scelzi many times and I know hes good enough to beat those guys week in week out in equal equipment. Somebody give this guy a top ride!

Nah, he has a KZbin channel now. If we have learned anything from the KZbin comments on dirt track videos, if a driver has a KZbin channel then "they ain't a real driver, they jus' a KZbinr."

KZbinr or not this young man can drive and he works hard!

@@jimclark1069 I know, I'm a fan too, I was just sarcastically poking fun at all the grouchy old guys who have never done anything who look for any opportunity they can to rip on Tanner Holmes because he has a KZbin channel as well.

@@AXIDNT66 When I originally replied I was that old grouchy guy and got defensive and tore into your response...🤣 Then I realised you were having fun so I Deleted it... re-replied with a short response. I for one like Tanner Holmes and oddly enough it is his youtube videos that I accidently came across that interested me. David Gravel compliments him on youtube. Its marketing your brand as they call it. Being an older sprint car fan myself Im surprised that I enjoy some of the youtuber stuff these guys do. Its insiteful in a lot of areas and you kind of get to know who these guys are. I root for Tanner just because of the hard work he puts into his gig, weather its doing a video or working on the car, etc. Hes a guy I wish was a little more successful on the track than he has been just because of his effort that he puts in to showcase his brand. Kalebs videos are kind of funny. Tanner presents himself more straight laced as Kaleb is the guy next door youd shoot the shit with and that is neat to me. I can see how it could be mistaken as not being serious... But hes honest with his aproach and having fun. I like his interviews and pit walks...Ive watched him race and hes in the mix with his own equipment and he stays out of trouble. Watching him pass Dominque Scelzi on the outside coming out of 2 at Tulare got my attention. Things like that is why I like him. Car owners who want someone who has natural talent and can stay out of trouble most of the time should seriously consider looking at Kaleb Montgomery. Im his agent by the way!😂 J-K.. I just see talent that deserves to succeed is all.

What do you think about NARC scheduling against High Limit on their West coast trip?
@Dirtfan65Күн бұрын
Who cares, NARC has the right to schedule their season however they want even if it does “interfere” with High Limit !!
@sprintcarfan87Күн бұрын
@Dirtfan65 That is true. However, there aren't so many 410s on the West Coast that two shows can be supported with full fields. One of the shows may well suffer, and that's not good. Maybe it won't matter, but I think it will, especially when guys like Sanders and Scelzi and perhaps even others have a real shot at beating the HL regulars for the big money at Skagit.
@freedom6919741Күн бұрын
Those two do not have a chance of winning against HL guys. That was proven last year.
@sprintcarfan87Күн бұрын
@@freedom6919741 I disagree. I'll admit that Scelzi has been off his game, but Sanders can do it. Nevertheless, I'll bet that they can make more at Skagit, win or not.
@AXIDNT66Күн бұрын
@@freedom6919741 Sanders was on his way to winning the very first High Limit race until Stockon broke in front of him and forced him to the bottom line. He's also a Dirt Cup winner, which didn't have the overall strength of field of a regular High Limit show, but still had Corey Day, Reutzel, Wise (before everyone had given up on him), Starks, Cole Macedo, etc. I mean they shouldn't be favorites to win by any means, but I think it's silly to say they don't have a chance. Both of them just can't seem to nail it in qualifying but have shown competitive pace throughout the races.
