I saw the show in February, and Sam was nothing short of magnificent. He wasn’t an actor playing a role, he WAS the role. He totally embodies the character of Evan Hansen, and the rest of the cast are also incredible to watch.

Sam is not only a phenomenal Evan, he is one of the best performers I have ever seen live, period. And he is surrounded by an amazing cast. I’ve been back to London twice in the past month to see this show again. I hope London fans won’t hate me for saying this, but I hope we get Sam on Broadway. His portrayal of Evan is a master class in theatre…absolutely breathtaking and transformative. Thank you team for finding him through an open call and giving him the shot. It not only changed his life, it’s changing many of ours too who have seen him perform live! Bravo!!!

I saw the U.S. tour three years ago. And I know what you mean. During lockdown, I watched bits of pieces of the Ben Platt slime tutorial, I started to have second opinions. I know the show wouldn’t be a pitch perfect happy musical. I just didn’t think carefully before I talked my cousin into it.

I went to see Dear Evan Hansen yesterday at the Coward Theatre and we were literally on the front row it was so emotional and absolutely amazing. It is now my favourite musical. I’ve seen it previously but they all just got better and Sam Tutty’s voice was absolutely shocking and beautiful. Love love love this so much!

I went to see Dear Evan Hansen at this theatre 2days ago. It was amazing!! I had already seen the movie a while ago, but this was just phenomenal. The main characters were different from these, Marcus Harman was a great Evan and Doug Colling was a great Conner. Voices were so beautiful

Recommendations sent me here! I thought I heard enough interpretations of the song. When I see the blue sky in the background, it makes me wish You Will Be Found was the end of the show. All to make Evan’s self acceptance feel more well earned. Because the message is partially misguided and DEH wouldn’t have the same impact on before the Pandemic on me. Bravo anyway
