This song is filled wish so much sentiment and hope that it's near impossible to feel bad while listening to it, and you did a beautiful job singing it and what I'm about to say has nothing to do about you (Jared Halley) I love your music and your covers, but I can't be the only one to find that outside of this song, the words are kind of empty. Like there are some of us that are broken just enough to hurt, but not broken enough to warrant help from others. The first time I heard this song, it was preformed by my school's Chamber Singers, and the song was so meaningful, that I didn't stop crying until a half hour later. When I started listening to your version. I never said it, but: I also like the place you're at while singing...I love how you record your videos out in the nature often :) Here in my city all I see are houses, flats, streets, cars and a lot of dirt when I look out of my window. And sometimes a bummer throwing up all the alcohol he drunk at night. (Not complaining, just saying...Thank God I am blessed with a home) I just miss a natural enviroment soo much!
