What I look for while getting a phone: 1 - Clean UI and software. There's nothing more frustrating to be not able to use your daily driver how you want it to. So software updates and a clean experience is a must. 2 - compact and durable design one that stands out. Metal body preferably with a good IP rating. I do like to test my phone in rains, I did it with my budget Moto G device. 3 - Camera. While I'm not a big photographer. But I'd rather have a robust camera set up that comes toy rescue when I need it. PS- during weddings and festivals 🫡 4 - Last but not least, Longevity. If a phone can't last atleast 3 years it's not worth my investment Frankly. Even if I have a good consistent earning, I won't change a phone just because there's a new one out there. I'd depend on the brand to make sure my device lasts for 3 years. So yeah I'd consider and weigh in on these features before making a new purchase.

8:50 I'm using Poco X6 Pro, the battery drainage issue was only seen initially. It has now significantly improved post updates. Even with heavy 5G usage for streaming and downloading, the phone still lasts for more than 6 hrs SOT and with just 4G it would easily be 7.5 - 8 hrs SOT, sometimes even 9 hrs SOT with moderate usage. And for ads and bloatwares, if do some minimal efforts of removing them through adb which btw just takes a few minutes, you'll say "What are ads". Literally i have never seen any ads inside app or software or unwanted notification whatsoever. Clean and smooth os, and this is coming from a long time Motorola user for over 6 years.

1 suggestion from my side. Performance and ui par jyada dhyan dena. Mera iqoo7 hai. 3+ years ho gaye hai abhi bhi me satisfied hu kyuki iski performance lajawab hai because isme processor accha hai. Abhi shayad 1-2 saal or chalu fir secondary phone bana dunga ise. In short - Lamba chalana hai to processor and ui main hona chahiye.

4:17 so true. I've been comfortable with iOS but then that's it, the user interface. And yes, camera is nice and so is the performance *but* poor battery and low storage. Storage, RAM, battery and camera are my top priorities. Hence, I chose a different phone for a change (yesterday). Making phones compact is a difficult task (especially when you have to make compact phones with h specifications on par with current demands) due to it involving even more complex engineering requirements than our not so compact phones which just makes them quite expensive

I am using motorola g65 5g 12gb ram 256gb storage, 120hz, no OLED:( and under display fingerprint. UI is good but no hello UI. it's no compact but i can use it with one hand with small fingers also. Nowadays phones are crazy wide, i cannot even get my thumb to touch the other side of the phone. Too much fiddling for my liking as i like to do things really fast but also relaxed with one hand for long times.

My budget was 40-50k. I was thinking I would buy iqoo neo 9 pro. Then I increased budget and thought of Oneplus 12. Then thought s23 ultra will be better deal. Lastly ended up with s24 ultra because new model and 7 years os update. I bought s24 ultra in 1.10 lac. Though I am not regretting for buying it. But it's a financial pressure for me. Understanding your need is the most important thing! Like, I personally can't use a phone without automatic call recording from the beginning without announcement. That's why however better the phones are, I'm stuck with Samsung & Vivo/IQOO (does any other brand have this feature?)

Rule no. 1 never buy latest & recently launched phone as the companies try to recover their costings of R&D maximizing their profits . Go for a year old phone. As you will get a better optimised phone from day one , you will get it in approx 60% of the launched price ... For Eg.(i) OnePlus 11 is at ₹39000 right now and 12R is 40k + with even less features... (ii) S23 ultra and iPhones , etc Thats my thought .

2 saal pehle maine Sanchit ki videos smdekhke hi faisla liya tha ke Xiaomi 11i 5g lunga. aur sanchit ne pura bataya ke performance nahi chaiye to 11i bhot badiya h. aur aaj tak mai is mobile se khush hu. abhi tak A1 chal raha hai. mai yehi kahunga ke gaming ho ya normal usage, Sanchit ki Raye kaam ki hoti hai. banda brands ki nahi sochta, imandari se apni raye rakhta hai.
