Cant say it any better. Our whole life we ride by comparing. Even if you get to next level you are going to compare with people at your level again. And there is no end to it. It is totally fine if you are improving as a result of it. But remember there are no free lunches either. If you need something, you have to sacrifice everything else to get it. For a person that focus on working all the time to earn lot of money, chances are he may not be taking care of his health and spending time with loved ones or no time for devotion. For a person that enjoys sleeping and eating all the time, they will feel envious about people that are achieving a lot and getting famous. Likewise many scenarios. So even if you achieve something there are other things you would have missed out. So balance your time well and give importance to all aspects of life. Or if you just want only one thing in life, be ready to sacrifice other things and do not regret. That is just how the world is.. when you do devotion and seek god, there is nothing to miss in this world. When you have god with you, you have everything
