Friendly advice from a Kokomi user since her first banner, try to use her skill first before buffing with Bennett/Mona since Kokomi's burst resets her skill's timer, I try to time her burst around the 9.0 - 8.8 mark so that her jellyfish stays on the field "permanently"

when I first got Kokomi on her first release I thought farming her artifacts would be easier but I ended up getting all of the def/crit/crit damage pieces on ocean hued clam, if not husk set with the main stats and substats she actually needs. That being said, just having her on the team really made my team pretty much immortal

To those new to Kokomi, just remember her Jellyfish's duration in field refreshes WHEN YOU USE HER BURST SKILLl. As long as you have about 150% (much better if 160%+) ER, you should be able to cycle your E skill and Burst and make your Jellyfish active in field permanently. tip: Use her burst when her E skill cooldown has like 8-9 secs. left to make the most out of its refreshed duration.

I have 164% ER on Kokomi. It gives my anxiety everytime I fight a single boss in Abyss. The Burst BARELY charges in time for me to refresh the jellyfish. In chambers with many weak mobs, however, energy is not not an issue.

once i was using a fridge team kokomi with sac fragments, and i pretty much have the jellyfish uptime 100% even without burst lmao, but literally tho, for the whole chamber, I have my jellyfish on field 100% of the time with sac fragments

Before Dendro became a thing, Kokomi goes incredibly well with Eula (mainly physical) & Ganyu, as well as Electro Traveler's burst to an extend. Also, the Oathsworn "clamshell" catalyst from Enkanomiya event quest is a work wonders for Kokomi. I just stick with that

Kokomi's pre-dendro best team was Ayaka freeze with Shenhe and Kazuha, which is still widely used now. The Oathsworn catalyst is quite bad with her due to the ATK percent and useless passive, which is much better on Yae Miko or Mona.

Meta-wise, she's one of the most needed unit in-game. (When she was released, she was hated by so many meta slaves but since her 2nd rerun everyone was trying hard to get her) Freeze team Ayaka was so much better when u use her with Kokomi. With healing and TTDS buff, she buffed Ayaka with a ton of ATK. Of course, you have Diona and Barb but it doesn't mean that you need to recharge Diona's Burst just to heal and get a mf Wet status when u wanna heal with Barb, right? Of course, u want comfort so Kokomi is the way. Also, talking about her artifacts, she can wield both Ocean Hued and Tenacity but I prefer Ocean Hued as it does gives Kokomi some personal DMG. Dont get me wrong, u CAN use Tenacity if u wanna make Ayaka a hypercarry with 3k buffed ATK from TTDS and Tenacity. Healing Bonus circlet is better for her tbh. I'd run her with HP%/Hydro DMG/Healing Bonus. Her healing with only one HP% main stats is already insane and ur DPS characters wouldn't have over 20k HP most of the time anyway.

Yep! All of these are indeed correct, my team is fischl, ayaka, diona, kokomi, and kokomi helps to freeze oppenents and my ayaka does way more damage with her, when my ayaka talents are 5,5,5 she does 10k-18k with kokomi, without she does 8k-10k

im a proud kokomi main. The first time i saw her in inazuma archon quest, i already fell in love! She's so pretty and i really like her personality. (besides she's also an INTP like me :D) when she first appeared on the banner i was crazy to pull for her. Many people told me she's not worth it, and also bc of her crit rate stats. I never ran out of her Jelly fish since it refreshes its cooldown while it's active if you use her Burst then you have your E skill available again before the jellyfish disappears again (just take note to use her Burst before her E skill's Cd reaches 8-9 sec. to make the most of it before you refresh its duration. As long as you have like 150%+ ER you should be able to use burst again when you attack. If you can't cycle her jellyfish's duration, it's probably an ER problem.

@@ViktorTrifonov_ zhongli is actually a dps loss in a lot of teams. Also, you get 100% uptime on Kokomi's jellyfish if you build her with around 180% ER which is easy to do considering you don't need to focus on crit at all for her. But yeah, at the end of the day it's personal preference.

I agree with most points, except the Mona vs Kokomi point. Mona taunts the enemies so they can group together and get frozen, plus she buffs your damage with 50% when you need it for Ayaka's burst. Sure, her Hydro application is not 100%, but I never had issues with that since the freezing lasts a few seconds after her E ends and most of the time the enemies are dead anyway, one freeze is enough. If the enemies are bosses and don't die in one freeze, they don't get frozen anyway. The only scenario where Kokomi is better than Mona in freeze is if you have Shenhe. With Shenhe you need to free up a slot in the team for her, and you can only do that by replacing 2 slots Mona (Hydro applicator) and Diona (Healer) with 1 slot Kokomi (Hydro applicator + healer). In terms of healing, she's a great healer but so is Bennett, Jean, Qiqi, even Barbara, all of them will keep you topped up with trash gear

I figure it'll give me a team with a lot of different elemental reactions I can use and have fun with. Personally going to hold off on getting into dendro reactions until I finish Inazuma.
