Me and my dad ate a dog once. Pa kanyenya, we never ate there again. But that's not the worst case. Where I lived a man who sold kanyenya was accused of killing and using the meat of his wife for kanyenya. He used about half of her body when people finally realized she was gone and started questioning him. He first lied, saying she had gone to her mother's, but when the mother of the wife came, people started asking more questions, and then they searched his house and found the woman in the fridge. A mob was formed, and the man was caught beaten up close to death. But the police came and saved him. I don't know what happened then, though. Such stories are common where I stayed. But for now, the storm is calm.
