The narrative about Unai Emery not doing well at PSG/Arsenal is complete bollocks to put it plainly,Unai won 7 trophies in 2 years at PSG & the only reason it was deemed a failure is cos he didn't win the champions league,PSG have never won this competition. At Arsenal in his 1st & only full season Unai got them to the Europa league final & finished 5th in the league only 3 points off 3rd place,that's better than Wengers last 2 season & Arteta 's 1st two seasons of 8th place each time,Unai wasn't backed & players were brought in that he never wanted. ie. Pepe & not Zaha who he asked for & at both clubs didn't have control like he has at Aston Villa,Unai Emery is elite & one of the best managers in world football,fact!

Great pre-game banter. Its a pretty special one with the Klopp Era coming to an end. As a Villa fan growing up I've always had a soft spot for Liverpool too, I think it was initially in reaction to kids in the neighborhood being ManUnited fans 😅 but I do have an appreciation for the history between our clubs with some really memorable moments like our infamous win with no fans, to our having to play the kids cause of COVID and end of season title deciders that always seemed to be a part of the City vs Liverpool 1 point title wins. As for this match, Luke is spot on we are playing on fumes with even more injuries, tired legs from a long season and I have no doubt the players are also gutted having lost our first semi final under Emery. Having said that I agree its highly likely Liverpool will beat us, I'd be ecstatic if we kept it close and got a draw.
