@joker shooter OH... I watched it when it got out. And for starters, it's not a horror, although it has some (smooth, VERY light) elements that may lead you to think it could be one... However, it's a bad attempt to do something Polanski-like (I'm talking about Manxhevski's film) and nothing more. I also don't expect this one to be a "classic horror", but nevertheless, hopefully it'll have something of the genre indeed and worth watching. We'll see... if we get a chance to watch it in a cinema in Macedonia, because in this country, there's no organized cinema system that goes in the theaters around the towns in the country, aside the capital (and even that's doubtful), which only one of the MANY, MANY pathetic things in this country.

Because she speaks and moves like a regular person but she looks incredibly scary. The way she's acted is brilliant because she speaks like a normal person but she's not

Theres good moments but in the end you work hard and you die. Its a very sobering movie that makes you think. I do respect it deeply, and its very well made and written and acted. There is a lot of macedonian cinematography Angela, going back from the brothers Manaki in 19th century to modern times and most of that cinematography is top quality. There is a quite a few A list Hollywood actors in those movies as well.

Looked better than it turned out to be, imo. It's "Nell" as a witch shapeshifter doing a series of Quantum Leaps into various premodern agrarian people and animals to try and gain love and acceptance. With violin music. I know they were going for a kind of primitive idiosyncratic poetry with her internal monologue but it didn't suck me in. Maybe it's the translation. I wanted to like it, I went in expecting to, I didn't expect or want jumpscares, I liked "The Witch"...and this was interesting, but I wanted it to be over before it was, and I don't want to watch it again.
