7:31 My new young Phal schilleriana made four leaves this summer and a bunch of roots. They can bloom when they're young so I might get to see that happen in the spring. 8:57 Is the Prosyclia also known as the Clam Shell orchid? 10:23 I want to try an oncidium lole this one but I heard some can have a plastic smell to them. The peppery one shouldn't be that bad though. 12:57 I have this one! Gulfshores Beauty 'Green Gem' (Bc. Carnival Kids) (B. nodosa x C. dormaniana) Got it from Hausermann's. It grew about three leaves this summer and I like the foliage even without flowers.

That will be exciting to see the Phal when it flowers those silver marked leaves with the pink bloom , so lovely 💕 Prosthechea cochleata is generally called the clam shell orchid , this is an intergeneric hybrid between a Prosthechea and an Encyclia With some of these that have Brassia in the mix don't necessarily have much noticeable scent unless you bring it right to your nose , so for me it is not a worry at all . Oh I am jealous lol . I really want one but with our travels coming I can't buy any more . These really are little gems for sure . 😍 Happy growing
