I use the ABCD pattern in a very simple form for my scalptrading. When the price is in an uptrend (1min), I start connecting the points, whenever a pullback occurs. Most of the time, after the first pullback the price drops. When the volume is still high enough, I set a tighter spot and let it rise.

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if I can apply that to his scalping strategy 5 min 50ema, RSI modified and ADX above 30 for entries. It works well in EURJPY but was thinking to apply and enter only on the 1st pullback after a change of trend. With what you just mentioned on top, might be a good combination.

I only trade smallcaps/pennystocks. It works very good on them. Backtest and see, if it works there too. When I have a very strong stock with the usual characteristics (high vol, high premarket position, high turnover etc), this pattern (obliviously) don't work. You enter after the first pull-back ... hmm ... that would not work for me, because I don't want to leave too much on the table. With small-caps I look for different pattern, bounce of support, clear picture on my indicators and candle structures like a doji etc). If you sub me, you get a full breakdown of my strategy in the future. Keeping strategies a secret is the worst for me and does not provide credibility to the secretive person.

it is not the first time I see a video about the ABCD pattern, but it is the first time (as usual) that I see one without a ton of BS, fluff and a bunch of personal stories that have nothing to do with issue itself. Great video, my only issue with a lot of the chart examples you show, is that you're starting the ABCD count in the same direction as the trend. Example, right now I'm at 9:40 in the video, your A-B wave starts at a minor correction to a larger pattern. So it's kind of just starting in the middle of an obvious trend. From what I know about Elliot wave, your A-B wave should start at a point where there is a reversal off a high or low. I'm not doubting your method, but rather, a little confused. Am I missing something?

It can be applied in a trend as well during a complex pull back, you just simply use it to confirm that price is ready to continue the trend when those conditions are met. Some pull back go further than usual..

Brother, i have a request for a video content for a situation. When market is in consolidation and orders are being filled by smart money. they tend to buy slowly and drop again buy slowly and drop the market in order to fill the orders a cheaper price and letting nobody know. But they make a mistake on volume and leave their foot prints on volume price candles. It should be possible to predict the market trend after consolidation prior to move. How come we do that and will any indicator help in that prediction. One of my friends does this and make huge money, but he tells how to nobody. Just sees few candles during consolidation and buys an option (call or put). He doesn't wait for breakout after consolidation. He does this by shadows and volume.

When new high is formed on D why anybody will short the market.. coz at D Point higher trend is resumed which in this case is bullish,so I normally draw Fibonacci from D to C and when price comes between 50 and 38.2 i go long with stop 23.6.. thats what Market Structure tells us.. (here I’m talking about bearish versions ABCD) This setup is in contradiction with market structure…
