Atleats cleaner than most indian cities and also less honking in the streets compared to indian cities. Funny enough most beggars in the kathmandu streets are from india. Even if a nepali is poor he will work hard instead of begging

Yes , we were there 2 days back only , you have to take boat for opposite side phewa temple which is in island it takes 115 rupees for both side per person..till 5 you can get boat .after coming back you can see evening aarti from this side of lake .beautiful lake , amazing experience
